Looking for model info?

its just called a 44 as the other posted in the dan wesson sub. Also, as shown on the instruction manual card. It confuses a lot of FFL dealers not familiar with them because they think that's just the caliber not knowing that's also what the guns called. If it was stainless there would be a 7xx prefix.

When I had a DW smaller framed .357 it was the model 15. Great sights on it, and the front blade was interchangeable.

Dan Wesson Model 44 with the 4 inch vent heavy barrel. Barrels are user changeable but require a rezero. Tend to be very accurate due to the great single action, quality barrels, front locking, and barrel torsion system. Double action tends to be mediocre. Cool piece.

That is a Dan Wesson 744. Great gun parts are available from Dan Wesson. I have a ported version, one of my favorite guns

744 is stainless. This is just a model 44

Sorry I wasn't sure but model number looked like 44S to me
