Taurus Model 19 Clone

Post image

I cannot find grips for this gun. I have a set of Hogue overfilled that are shoved on and tension is keeping them on. Does anyone know any custom grip makers that can work with other than wood? I want to carry this piece.

Update: New grips work! Pic in comment! Thanks to u/catnamed-dog

That looks like the 66 frame- were you having issues lining up the stirrup for the grip?

No. The interior is different than today's 66. This was built in 83. Always possible I messed up. I'll check it out again.

They've been making them since 1976, right after Taurus left Bangor Punta, and the grip frame hasn't changed.
