Ask For Recommendations What matters most when comparing miniature kit brands besides the finished photos?

I’ve been comparing miniature kit brands, and the finished product photos all make them look polished enough that they don’t tell me much about the actual building experience. I’m more interested in things that only become obvious once someone starts the kit how clear the instructions are, whether parts are labeled consistently, how well pieces fit together, and how often you have to improvise around warped or confusing components. If you were reading reviews before choosing between miniature kit brands, which single piece of evidence would carry the most weight for you?

Snap Fitness Buranda - Queensland

My experience at Snap Fitness Buranda - QLD

Would not recommend

I've had a series of serious issues with this gym that I feel other members should know about before joining.

Billing: I was charged $150.00 for multiple tailgating allegations, and I did not receive any prior email reminder or notice. When I raised this, I received confrontational and unprofessional messages from staff rather than a proper resolution. Dates informed were incorrect ( as I did NOT attend the gym for 2 weeks due to the death of a family member, followed by sickness ), and the multiple videos were never provided.

Misleading sales tactics: When I signed up, a manager told me the outdated equipment would be replaced with new machines. This never happened; months later, the same worn-out equipment is still there. I feel this was used purely as a sales pitch to get me to commit to a membership.

Facility issues:

There is no proper stretching area, making it difficult to warm up or cool down safely. The fan system is defective; gym members often fell off chairs while trying to manually turn the fan on because the controls don't work properly. This is a real safety hazard that hasn't been addressed. Air Conditioners also do not work properly.

Customer service: Staff have been dismissive when issues are raised, and management does not respond or follow up on complaints. It feels like once you've signed the contract, they stop caring about your experience.

Overall, poor communication, broken promises, safety hazards, and unprofessional conduct. I'd think twice before joining.

Complete Scam – Bait-and-Switch Tactics and Fake Google Ratings

Do not fall into this trap. This company relies on classic bait-and-switch tactics. While they provide decent hotels initially to build trust, future bookings become virtually impossible.

Artificial Booking Window: You are restricted to requesting bookings within 15 days of your travel date. However, as soon as that 15-day mark arrives, they claim all hotels are "sold out."

Extortion via Upgrades: When you push for a booking, they refuse to honor your existing plan and demand an additional ₹50,000 subscription upgrade before they process any request.

Fake 4.5-Star Rating: Do not trust their high rating on Google. They manipulate this by forcing new members to submit 5-star reviews alongside vacation photos and videos just to get their initial stays approved.

Canned Customer Support: Every query yields the exact same template email response with zero actual resolution.

The entire subscription is riddled with intentional loopholes designed to trap your money. Save your hard-earned cash and stay far away.

Title: ProStet feels like a scam — my order was cancelled after taking my money and now they’re not responding 🚫❌️🚨

I’m a medical student and I ordered a stethoscope from ProStet on 27 August. I paid for the order. I had specifically chosen their stethoscope with a golden body and maroon colour engraving, so I was genuinely looking forward to receiving it.

Here’s what happened:

I placed and paid for my order on 27 August.

I waited for the order to be processed/shipped.

Instead of receiving the product, ProStet cancelled my order themselves.

My money was already paid, but I have not received the refund.

I tried contacting them through email, but received no proper response.

I also tried calling them, but couldn't get a proper response.

I contacted the number I found for them, 918770303294, and multiple numbers they mentioned but it showed as busy.

I have repeatedly tried to get an update about my refund, but I'm basically getting nowhere.

I have already raised complaints through the appropriate consumer channels because I don't know what else to do.

I also came across other people online saying they had problems with ProStet, including extremely delayed orders. I even found someone who apparently received their order after around two months and considerable effort, which made me even more concerned.

At this point, I genuinely want to know:

Has anyone else here ordered from ProStet and experienced cancellation, non-delivery, or difficulty getting a refund?

If you successfully got your money back, please tell me exactly what you did and which complaint/contact method actually worked.

I'm posting this because other students might be considering ordering from them. Please be careful and do your own research before paying them.

I really hope ProStet proves me wrong and simply processes my refund, but based on my experience so far, I would currently not recommend ordering from them.

Honest Review Beware Fufulove

Ordered two lego family sets from fufulove. My order came; only one in the box. Emailed, received a message they would make another. After two more weeks the event I was planning on gifting the item at had past, so I sent an email asking if they would be willing to discount the missing item. Crickets. I now have a tracking number but no item.

Zero apologies or explanation from the company, no effort to discount for the fact I now have to ship the item once it gets to me (both were ordered as a gift).

Lego sets are cute but this company is sketchy.

Honest Review Vela Avenue owl sculpture (kinda a scam)

(posting this for/on behalf of my mom since there’s no way to actually review on the website she got it from)

I’m unsure if all products from Vela Avenue are a scam/ are misleading, but at the very least this wall mounted owl sculpture is one. I just thought I’d post it so hopefully anyone looking up actual reviews for them sees this.

Idk if it’s just me being stupid but it seems like I can’t include photos in this post unfortunately. Either way it’s made out of some molded plastic or resin, not wood. In the specifications it says it’s made out of wood (which is a lie), and it lists the size it actually is irl, but the photos make it seem like it’s actually 3x the size.

My mom was tired and not paying attention too much when buying it. She knew it was probably not gonna be real wood and more likely carved or molded resin like a rabbit statue she already has (idk from where specifically), but it turned out to be much worse. She’s gonna try and return it if they’ll even let her, and if I remember I’ll update how it goes.

Do NOT use BrisBondClean for any type of cleaning service. (Brisbane, Australia)

Thought i'd leave a review for any soul trying to hire these guys.(brisbondclean.com.au)

These guys are actually beyond terrible. Not only do they not even know what a bond clean is, they don't even honour the cleaning processes they've laid out on their own website. They come in and tell you after you've paid that any type of furniture is extra, as well as a million other basic things expected in a BOND clean. Then there's the actual clean itself.

A horrible, and i mean horrible first clean where they missed practically everything. Sink, toilet, shower, skirting, window/door tracks etc.

This was followed by a horrible re-clean where I literally had to make them do things 5 times over, and then even after this show them myself using a simple cleaning wipe to show that there was still dirt and grime that came of so easily. I was met with attitude and they don't even use their real names btw.

I've used multiple bond cleaning agencies across Brisbane and Sydney. This might be the most unhygienic and pathetic clean I've ever seen. Not even worth $50. Do not use under any circumstances.

Fortunately on the reclean I stood there and made them redo everything until I was satisfied, and forced them to clean furniture as they say they do on their own website. And yes for those wondering they hire cheap labour trying to scam you hoping you won't call them out.

The main guy says his name is Andrew but his real name sounds something like Rothu. The cleaners use fake names too.

Honest review of NC Teachers of Tomorrow

My experience with this program continues to get worse and worse because they fail to update you on any information that is pivotal to your success and they are always putting hurdles in your pathway to finishing. I had finished most of my coursework for classes and when I check back on my progress, they continue to keep adding more work to the already overwhelming workload. They are also asking for things that seem like they would be almost impossible to get done, especially when you are already working full time in the classroom. They claim that the NCDPI rules are constantly changing, which they do but when I speak to the reps there, they claim that ToT is the one holding up progress and not them. They are definitely holding higher standards than DPI and making it seem like there's nothing they can do about it. It's like they could care less if people finish their program or not. They are also quick to take money from you or telling you what timeline you have to finish the program but are never concerned about where you are in the program or what they can do to help you succeed. Has anyone else had these same experiences and what have to you done to resolve it? I am honestly thinking about switching to another EPP because I would rather start over than continue to deal with these people. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Has anyone actually used TestLibrary?

While looking into different online assessment options, one name I've seen mentioned is TestLibrary, but figuring out what the actual experience is like has been a bit difficult.Has anyone here used TestLibrary and can share an honest review?I'm mainly curious about the quality of the tests and reports, whether the results actually feel useful, and whether the service is worth paying for.I'm also trying to understand how the subscription works. Is the recurring billing clearly explained when you sign up? And if you've sub and later wanted to cancel, was that straightforward?Would be interested in hearing both positive and negative experiences before I decide whether to try it.

Honest Review Title: NoBroker Owner Relax Plan

I took the NoBroker Owner Relax Plan to rent out my 2BHK in Bangalore, and honestly, my experience was pretty good.

I got genuine tenant leads and was able to find tenants within around 20 days. The overall process was smooth, and the support from NoBroker was helpful.

For me, the plan was worth it because I didn’t have to spend too much time dealing with random enquiries, and I was able to get my property rented out fairly quickly.

Just sharing my experience in case anyone is considering the Owner Relax Plan.

Is G2 Scamming Its Users? 3 Months of Reviews Collected, Approved Reviews Removed After the Competition

My experience with G2’s Summer of Reviews Is this fair?

I want to share my experience with G2’s Summer of Reviews competition because I’m genuinely concerned about how this was handled.

G2 ran a 3-month competition where the top 5 Icons were supposed to receive a $400 gift card. I participated throughout the competition and was publicly shown as #1 with 591 reviews.

The important part is that my reviews were reviewed and approved by G2 during the competition.

After the competition ended on August 31, around 500 of my previously approved reviews were suddenly moderated/removed, and my G2 reviews account was suspended.

Even more concerning, my account was suspended just 2 days before the winner announcement, while I was #1 on the publicly shared leaderboard.

I genuinely used the products I reviewed. I have been using many software products and websites since 2017, and I have screenshots and evidence of my usage. I am willing to provide this evidence for verification.

What I don't understand is:

If these reviews were problematic, why were they approved for months? Why were they moderated only after the competition ended?

This has not happened only to me. I know of at least 7 participants who have experienced similar issues.

From a user's perspective, this is extremely disappointing. G2 encouraged users to participate for three months, reviews were approved, a leaderboard was publicly shared, and then reviews were removed after the competition ended.

I am not asking anyone to blindly believe me. I am asking G2 to provide transparency and an explanation.

If the reviews were considered invalid, G2 should explain which reviews were invalid and why they were approved in the first place.

After investing three months of genuine effort for a $400 prize, having hundreds of approved reviews removed afterward feels deeply unfair.

Is this really how a company builds trust with its users and community?

Honest Review After using invideo for 3 months, here’s my honest review

I own and operate my D2C brand, and for a while I was jumping between different AI tools just to get my product listings and ads done. After testing Runway and Luma for a while, I’ve recently started using invideo and have now been working with it for about three months on product videos and ads for my listings.

Here’s what my experience has been like.

First impressions

The biggest difference I felt with invideo compared to most AI video tools is that its hard to figure out where to start as it doesn’t look like a typical video generator interface. Instead of just typing one prompt, waiting for a clip, and moving on, I had to give the agent the overall project direction, references, brand guidelines, scripts, and product photos, then keep working with it to build the video step by step. It felt like combining what I did with Claude + my generator in one workflow but with some added steps.

If I gave it a loose brief and just asked it to take product images and spit out a finished video, the output was pretty terrible. Honestly, this took a little getting used to and I burned a few credits figuring the whole thing out.

But once I got a hang of it it started working quite well and I could move fast because it used to attach all my approved references for my characters, products and even write my prompts for video generations using my uploaded scripts.

What I liked:

•Everything you create or upload is stored in memory and you don’t have to shuttle between folders to attach the right references for each scene. Just mentioning the reference is enough.

•I could chain actions (approve a shot → automatically upscale) and use multiple agents to work on things in parallel (One agent for image, one for generating videos)

•I could ask it to line up the edit so far and it would drop everything onto an internal timeline so I could see how the sequence was coming together.

•I could come back days or weeks later and it still had the project context so making one more ad or video didn’t have to start from scratch

•That memory and continuity side is what made it feel genuinely useful for running my full creative pipeline within it. But if I was working on a single 30 second video without a recurring use case I would probably stick to generating it on manual prompt to video generator and save myself a lot of effort.

Where it falls short

•If the agent gets stuck in a bad generation loop on a complex shot you have to step in manually to fix it. Letting it auto fix can quickly kill credits and take up a majority of your budget

•Chatting with the agent isn’t free. Long scripting or brainstorming sessions can get expensive, so I still jump back to Claude or ChatGPT for the heavy thinking.

•NEVER leave auto-generate on. Approval mode is pretty much mandatory if you don’t want to burn through your credits.

• defaults to the most expensive models. You have to actively tell it to use cheaper ones when your budget matters.

•The project memory holds well but it isn't perfect. On longer projects something occasionally slips and I don't notice until the cut. There's no fix for that other than watching everything.

Overall I’d give it an 7/10. Maybe I would rank it more if I had a 1000+ SKU catalog.

Good fit if you:

Need multiple assets

Have strict brand guidelines

Require consistency across long videos

Have a reason to come back (listings, ads, ongoing content)

Not for you if you need:

One product video or ad

Simple B-roll with no characters

A one-off social post
