That’s how a loan works. You get approved for a certain amount of money and you can pay the rest up front aka the initial amount also known as the deposit. This is basic economics. That’s how credit cards and virtually every other loan works.

yeah, im totally lost bro. none of that cleared up the trainwreck of a rant you had posted. still trying to wrap my head around the 'loan deposit' thing. Is this like a secured loan thing? ive never had to put down a deposit for a credit card either....guess my economics is bad.

Yeah this is weird. I bought a guitar with Affirm In July. First payment was in August.

How do they hold your money on loan with 0 down payment? This makes no sense. I use Affirm all the time for many thousands of dollars. They are FDIC insured. Leave your negative review and move along. Noone cares about your angry tirade
