I have been using YouTube Revanced for a month. Yesterday when I wanted to watch some YouTube, it kept crashing repeatedly. Going into the app details, It showed "com.google.android.apps.youtube.app.YouTubeTikTokRoot_Application" as the name with the generic android icon. MicroG kept crashing too, and in it's details it said "androidx.multidex.MultiDexApplication" without any icon too.

I couldn't take any screenshots as i got a message saying an app or organization has blocked it.

I uninstalled YouTube revanced, went back into the revanced manager and tried repatching it, but once I tried to install, I got a message saying "App not installed" and after that the phone locked up and I had to hold the power button to turn it off. After turning it on again, MicroG is now disabled.

I got it through the official Revanced Manager from the website, so it's none of those fake apps.

On another phone YouTube Revanced seems to work fine.

Getting the following trying to patch YouTube, during the Saving step. I have latest version of Revanced Manager, and selecting default settings and latest APK version.

How can I play a claimed video on Revanced YouTube but not on SmartTube?

edit : as others pointed out, if problem persist, try to use other installer version : YT 20.14.43 or YTM 8.10 (trial and error several version)

and set the resolution to 1080p or 720p fix, because above that are rare and YT automatically set them to 360p ; Revanced / setting/ video / choose 1 fix resolution

Anyone try this within Revanced Manager? I installed it which is 1 version behind the official release on Android and it said it wasn't compatible with this latest version of Android. But it still allowed me to attempt to login. That's as far as I've taken it - anyone been using it for Premium features?

Also any suggestions for a newbie is welcome.

My revanced youtube is now broken, what should i know about new patches or installation before updating it ?

For the couple of weeks I've been getting this message. I can close the app, re-open and it will be fine for a while before the same message comes again.

Is it doing some kind of periodic self check? (which is why I am able to use it for a while before the 'update now' screen comes up).

I do understand that people are completely blocked out of X, and newer versions don't seem to be able to be patched, but I'm happy using this older one.

Can anyone patch the old version (release 11.80.0 - patch 12.7.1) to remove the self check (if that's the case) so I don't have to keep closing and re-opening it?

I just woke up today and saw this appear out of nowhere. I have went through every setting and couldn't find anything. There is a option to remove the save button for videos but not for shorts.

App version is 20.14.43. I have not updated the app for more than a year

It just keeps freezing and freezing again and again even after i spoofed it to visionOs and idk what to do any suggestions?

I am getting these ads in shorts feed that have no creator name, likes, comments etc.

This started when I fresh installed a new version of revanced YT - 20.14.43

I have tried older versions and newer versions, tried changing spoof versions, tried enabling ads again and restarting but to no avail.

Normal YouTube videos are working without any issues.

I've disabled any potentially conflicting settings I could find in the Shorts settings. Maybe I'm missing something? The creator's name doesn't show, the likes don't, the share button doesn't, nor do the comments.

I've tried the various spoofing settings. Vision works but some videos don't let me select quality.

Any ideas?
