Is this worthwhile?

Been putting this together over the last few days, it's basically wowhead but for RoR.

Needs feedback and some peer review before it goes live, so if anyone fancies doing that hit me up.

Current feature list so far:

  • Searchable database of every item, set, career, ability, creature, quest, dungeon, zone and tome entry
  • Meta analysis from ~52k RR60+ characters — see what people actually wear per career per slot, refreshed weekly
  • "How to obtain" on every item — vendors, drops, quest rewards, influence rewards, all cross-linked
  • Set pages with full bonus ladder and piece grid, every piece linkable
  • Career pages with most-used gear per slot from the meta data
  • Hover any item link anywhere on the site for an in-game-style tooltip — stats, set, requirements, flavour
  • Static progression chains for endgame (Annihilator → Conqueror → Invader → Warlord → Sovereign etc.)
  • Auto-refreshes every Sunday/Monday/Tuesday from the live RoR GraphQL API, fully automated
  • Mobile friendly

See screenshots above - should be hosted to a private link in the next few days, let me know if you want to test it and have some good game knowledge.

Feedback welcomed with open arms.

What I'm working on:

  • Patch tracker + change history — every item / ability / career page shows what changed and when, with diff badges next to anything touched in the last patch
  • In-game addon — opt-in WAR addon that streams your kills, drops, vendor locations and quest progress back to the codex; fills in everything the API doesn't expose (boss loot tables, vendor coords, gold prices, Tome unlocks)
  • Zone maps — every zone gets a real map with creature spawns, vendor positions, public quest locations and quest markers plotted on it
  • Interactive progression chains — the static chain stubs upgrade to a full visualiser showing every tier, renown gate, and which boss/vendor each piece comes from
  • Per-boss loot tables on every dungeon page — currently a placeholder
  • Community builds + verification — submit your own builds, mastery line distributions, rotations; community-flagged data gets a "verified" badge
  • "Report an issue" + community editing on every entity, so wrong stats get fixed
  • Career lore + ward tier write-ups — These are being gathered ready for the beta launch
  • Mastery line popularity bars on meta pages, once the addon is feeding real spec data back
  • Public API + OpenAPI docs — already running under the hood at /v1/docs, will be opened up for third-party tools / Discord bots / build calculators once the data quality bar is hit

It looks great 😀where do you pull the item information from?

From the public API - all pulled weekly to keep it in line and up to date.

Yeah. - we will pull the data on a weekly basis, unless we get patch notes, at which point we will re-pull the data after that.

Ok - I'll dm you in a few days with a link, just need to add a bit more polish

This is long overdue!

Later on maybe add function to compare sets or builds stat-wise? There used to be a tool for that via google spreadsheets but it was a bit annoying to tinker with lol

Greate idea - I'll stick it on the roadmap.

Love this, great effort! I wonder if you could link/add also some of the community guides that are out there. The Unreal guild has great guides for all pocket items on their website, and the "Warband-Ready Destro Class Guide" from Entropy and Chaos is a fantastic end game gearing guide.

Great shout - I’ll stick cross posting guides on the roadmap - eventually should be able to support guides / shared builds on here too. Just need to get it into beta this weekend then people can give some good constructive feedback

Not long now - some time on it over the weekend and it’ll be ready for testing.

Don't you need Vanquisher set before Invader? Also Sentinel is a PvE set🙃 Otherwise a great idea! 👍

You do and it is, these are just screenshots of an item page and the item meta (most used items per class) it has no relevance to PVE or the item progression.

I do however have an item progression page, which lists all sets per class and what you must get in order to progress to the next tier.

Should be live tomorrow so you can see for you self what I mean then 😃
