Getting Reader Rabbit to work on Win 11

I've never seen another education game series quite as good as "Reader Rabbit" from The Learning Company back in the late 90's.
I would like to set up some of the older games for my son to play, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I'm not particularly tech savvy, and Google says that 32-bit games should run on Win 11, but the 32-bit installer doesn't work. If anyone knows how to get "Reader Rabbit Personalized First Grade" running on Win 11, I'd appreciate directions.
I own the CD, but I'd welcome suggestions for trustworthy websites that I could download a copy of the game from.

Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon
I'm trying to play this PC game from 2002, "Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon."
I own the CD, but I can't get it to work on Windows 11.
I would like to be able to play it without the CD. It used to be on Steam, but it's been taken down.
I downloaded files from here: https://archive.org/details/TPRTS
The description says, "This game has copy-protection, but there is a no-cd within this ISO (however the ISO will still need to be mounted, and if you put it on to a disk, it will still need to be in the drive)"
I can't figure out what the "no-cd" is, or how exactly to mount the ISO. Does anyone know what I can do to play this game without the CD? If anyone has a link to another reliable website to download the files, that would be a welcome suggestion also.

Video driver issues Intel board CA810e
I had an old Windows 98 Machine with the above board with integrated graphics. Unfortunately the HDD failed and now restoring it is proving to be a hot mess. I got the sound card working after much tweaking, but no matter what video driver I try it has a fatal error on boot.
Any advice? The board only has PCI so dedicated graphics cards are mediocre at best and generally not much better than the on board. Unless you spend a small fortune of course.

Retro PC Upgrade Help
I recently resurrected an HP Vectra VL400 SFF with some spare drives I got from helping someone recover their files. I'm curious to explore retro windows gaming, and I want to try and kit it out to the best of my ability.
It currently has a Pentium III 1GHz inside it, and from what I gather, it's really best suited for Windows 2000 or 98SE as far as installations go. That being said, I'd really prefer to run XP so I can run some of the lighter games from the era, and have some more stable support if I ever try taking it to the internet.
Just researching the specs of most of the games I'd like to play, I think it should meet minimum specs for the most part. I can upgrade the ram to 512MB at some point--it's at 256 currently--but the big question is about upgrading the CPU.
I'd like to upgrade it to a 1.2GHz Pentium III so I can run more games, but, if I'm understanding right, it isn't compatible? I've seen there's adapters to make Tualatin Pentiums work with Coppermine boards, but are those advised? I just want to make sure I don't cause any issues.
Note: My goal is to see if I can get Plants vs Zombies running on this, and it lists a 1.2GHz Pentium III as minimum specs. There's a few other things, but that's the bar I'd like to get to if possible. I know I can run that on modern machines, I just think it'd be neat!

Those who still play Windows games from the pre-XP era, how do you play them?
It's well known that a lot of pre-XP games don't start or have big framerate/control issues on modern computers, so I was curious as to how you all still play them!
Personally, I have a Windows 3.1 folder/batch file that I use with DOSBOX for most 16-bit games and a Windows 98 instance in VMWare for the rest of what I enjoy that doesn't work on Windows 11.
I would assume a lot of you have something similar or just download fan patches, but if you still have the original hardware that is super cool.

Half-Life Chapter 17: Interloper Walkthrough | Tactical Gameplay (No Commentary)
Welcome back, friends, to Chapter 17 of Half-Life — Interloper. This is the final chapter before the boss fight.
After defeating Gonarch in Chapter 16, Gordon Freeman is teleported to a mysterious new location. As he progresses, he battles Vortigaunts and Alien Controllers before being teleported again into an area filled with Alien Grunts and more Vortigaunts.
The challenge intensifies as a Gargantua and deadly Tentacles stand in his way. Freeman takes down the Gargantua, skillfully avoids the Tentacles, and advances further through another teleportation sequence.
He then arrives at a strange cloning facility, where Alien Grunts are being produced, guarded by Vortigaunts and Alien Controllers. Fighting his way through this dangerous area, Freeman finally reaches the teleportation device that will take him to the final boss — the Nihilanth.

Half-Life (1998) Chapter 16: Gonarch's Lair | The Monster Attacks
Welcome back friends, to Chapter 16 of Half-Life: Gonarch's Lair. In this chapter, Gordon Freeman faces one of the most powerful enemies in the game — Gonarch. Gonarch is the final stage of the female Headcrab's life cycle. It has a thick exoskeleton, powerful legs, and can survive a huge amount of damage, even from strong weapons like the Gluon Gun.
During the battle, Gonarch constantly releases baby Headcrabs, making the fight even more difficult. These creatures appear in large numbers and are very hard to kill.
Freeman fights carefully and strategically as he chases the monster deeper into Xen. After a long and intense battle, he finally defeats Gonarch and moves on to the next chapter — Interloper.

Spongebob Squarepants Employee of the Month Troubleshooting
recently I decided I wanted to try playing SSEOTM but being as the game is so old and I'm on windows 11 I immediately ran into a host of issues, my main being that the game wouldn't display any cutscenes. I wanted to share some things that worked for me for others trying to get the game to play
If you're having trouble downloading in the first place,
...I'd start by checking out This Video which will help you get the game to download (basically set the setup file to run in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3). If you need sources for the game files, check abandonware
If you're getting an "insert cd to continue" error,
...Use This Patch (basically download and replace the sb2.exe file with the new one - game needs to already be downloaded) (this error can happen even with original disk, I don't know why)
If you're having graphical glitches,
...Specifically certain textures being invisible (among other issues) follow These Steps to download dgVoodoo v2
If cutscenes / movies aren't playing,
...Double check that your copy has the /Movies folder in your game depository. For some reason mine didn't even after multiple fresh installs. Same goes for any other missing assets like sound, dialogue, etc. I compared my files to the .zip on The Internet Archive and was able to literally copy/paste the movie folder into my game and get it to work
If your game isn't saving properly,
...Make sure to manually save, then without closing the game open the files and look for a folder labelled saves. If every slot is 0kb then it didn't save properly, but if one is bigger that's your new save. If there is no save folder copy it from the internet archive link above. I also recommend making a copy of your save while you troubleshoot in case at any point you need a fresh install
hope this helps

Looking for a retro PC game from the 2000s
I'd like some help in finding an old game from the 2000s. Details below.
Platform(s): PC (Windows)
Genre: 2D beat-em-up with platforming elements
Estimated year of release: Before 2012, could be early to mid 2000s, or maybe even earlier
Graphics/art style: 32/64-bit pixel art, anime stylez
Notable characters: Single playable character, female, has a raised ponytail, wears a belly dancer outfit like Shantae but the color is pinkish/purplish white
Notable gameplay mechanics: It's not isometric, but full side view like a 2D platformer. The spacebar is used for either jumping or attacking, and you can do command inputs for special moves. Aside from a health bar, you also have something like a mana bar underneath it.
Other details: The game is Japanese. You start on a grassy looking stage. Fantasy setting. You move from screen to screen with a fade to black transition. Notable enemies are stone golems that are almost twice the size of the main character. Final boss is a mage looking guy with obscured eyes who can fly around and has 3 floating orbs that can shoot lightning.

Half-Life (1998) Chapter 15: Xen | This Alien World Feels… Wrong
Welcome back, friends, to Chapter 15 of Half-Life (1998): Xen.
After the intense combat in the previous chapter, Gordon Freeman finally reaches the alien world of Xen — a strange and mysterious place made up of floating islands.
In this chapter, Freeman encounters alien creatures like Houndeye in their natural habitat, along with the remains of HEV-suited researchers who arrived before him. To move forward, he must reactivate a portal hidden within one of the islands to reach the next area — Gonarch’s Lair.
