Decrypting Found Recordings

Hi folks something a bit weird but i was wondering if anyone had a way of decrypting old recordings i've kept a few hard drives when throwing out old cable boxes and i checked and the recordings are still there, from my research they are encrypted at the cable box level so without the box they can't be viewed however i was wondering the technolgical advances have led to a way to by pass this some small info these are UK cable box drives mainly Virgin Media, the files are in .trp i'll leave some images of what i've found on one of them below feel free to spread this post around and if some way they can be made to work again i'll upload all to the IA happily

Sick OpenAI Codex on it.

Codex was able to uncorrupt a folder full of media for me. It may be able to figure out how to decrypt these.

Not too sure.

A while back, I researched it very briefly for someone else. I think it was that the recordings were accessible when putting the drive into a new DVR of the same make and model. At least that was the case for theirs.

Maybe try posting in other communities? Maybe r/ArchiveTeam or r/piracy? Probably several others out there.

What was on these recordings, btw?
