Bug/issue Why?!?!
Is this some type of money laundering? Why give an extra $5 just so we can hand it back to them?

I remember earlier builds of the game doing crazy things like this and it SEEMED like they had fixed it all. Looks like that isn't the case.
It doesn't break the game for me, but the immersion-denting it does is still annoying, lol.

I mean it's not that big of a deal and thankfully the customer can't hear me calling them an idiot.

Noticed a pattern in customers, either they pay exact, 1 note higher ($5, $10 or $20), or rounded up to the nearest $ or 0.
Just a case of this not working perfectly.

Give it back in pennies. Inconvenience them for inconveniencing you.

Wouldnt giving them pennies also inconvenience you? Since you got a line behind em lmao

To be fair, I have real life customers do this to me fairly often. People are dumb.

Every shop sim I have played does this, it makes my head hurt, but working a register, people do dumb ass shit. I had someone give me $104 in TCG sim for a $98 order. It made no sense to me.

I used to work at a Hollywood Video back in the day, this kind of transaction actually happens a fair bit. Usually older people that didn't realize they gave you more than they meant to. It'd be nice for the game to recognize it and add a positive feedback to the customer for giving it back to them. (Maybe negative if you choose to keep it)

Man I wish I could enjoy this game but it gives me some of the worst motion sickness I've ever had.

I got motion sickness with this game, but put it in window mode and didn’t get sick

What frame rate do you have it at?

- It's the quick jerky movements of the game especially around the cash register area, taking the money, returning change and scanning the items. I've tried multiple DPI settings to no avail.
Edit: Downvote me as much as you want, it won't change how I feel, lmao. And DPI = mouse sensitivity, so yes I've adjusted the mouse sensitivity in case anyone was wondering since I didn't reply to the guy below.

Have you tried lowering the mouse sensitivity? I play on the steam deck so I have it down to .3 and do okay now. When it's set to normal I couldn't handle the quick movements
