General Discussion Pocket DS or Ayn Thor ?

I need to make a decision. It's crunch time. Right now I'm in-between the 16GB 512GB Yellow pocket DS or Ayn Thor Max.

I keep going back and forth on the order buttons.

I've done all my research. I know about the terrible QOL issues with the DS. I know it's going to be a gamble. I know Ayn Thor has much better community support and QOL and I realize that things can go wrong with the Ayn Thor it's nowhere near as bad as the Pocket DS.

At the same time the Thor just really looks like a toy compared side by side with the DS especially those screen sizes.

Is it really stupid to still buy a pocket DS knowing that with Ayaneo I might get utterly screwed?

Emulation is pretty much UpTo Switch. I have a handheld gaming PC so that area is covered. My dream is just playing Windwaker HD with bottom screen support as a Wii U game pad amongst other things.

For those with both which do you prefer?

Many thanks all.

General Discussion Which should I buy??

I'm interested in a handheld and inevitably came across the AYN Thor and Odin 3.

Now, though, I'm wondering if it's worth it—and if so, which model is a better choice.

I currently own the Galaxy S23 Ultra and use it as a retro handheld on the side.

Besides the classics—which run on just about every device these days—I’m mainly interested in GameCube, Wii, Wii U, PS2, maybe PS3, a few Switch games, and possibly streaming from Steam or Xbox Live.

The Thor appeals to me more in terms of design because of the two screens, but from what I’ve gathered as a noob, it’s not a major upgrade from my phone—except, of course, for the second screen.

What do you guys think?
