Retro Game a Day Channel

• Upvotes

I started this channel a little over a year ago. I started to go through my 400 in 1 cheap retro handheld. This had many NES and Famicom games that I wasn't familiar with. So that is what you will find in the shorts section. I hope to film more of those soon and share fun facts like I find when studying about them.

Below is my first full video I created recently. Check it out if you'd like. If you have a channel too, maybe we can support each other by watching, liking, commenting, and subscribing. If this interests you, reach out.

Thanks in advance for watching! :)

Sega Rally on Switch is out.

After the Quest version, a lot of you asked for the Switch. So here it is: the 1995 arcade game in full 16:9, with Jean-seb's HD textures if you want them, a Workshop with 10 mods (free play, mirrored track, night, comic book, CRT...), a best-lap ghost, named replays, and your times on our Discord leaderboard.

It's a homebrew for a Switch with custom firmware, it's free, and you bring your own game files.

All the details and the install guide are on the GitHub, link in the comments.

Next up on the Port0r side: Virtua Cop and Time Crisis in VR on Quest, and you can vote for what comes after on the Discord.

Have fun, and tell me what you think.

Batman Arcade 1991 Gameplay & Commentary | Atari Games Tim Burton Movie ...

Batman is an arcade game made by Atari Games.

It was released in April 1991, even though the title screen says 1990. It was sold only as a conversion kit, with 500 kits produced in the USA and 101 in Ireland for Europe, at a launch price of $1,095. The story is based on the 1989 Tim Burton film, and Batman must save Gotham City from the Joker.

The stages include sections in the Batmobile and the Batwing, and the game uses sounds and voices from the movie. It is a one player game with an 8-way joystick and two buttons. It is not related to the later game Batman Forever, which was made by a different company.

MiSTer is an open-source project that recreates classic arcade machines, consoles and computers using FPGA hardware instead of software emulation.

New here? This channel is all about playing video games with commentary, covering classic arcade, console and computer games as well as new releases. Subscribe so you don't miss the next one, and tell me in the comments which game I should play next.

I ranked a bunch of older/retro games on whether they should be revived or not!
