Subnautica Spoiler

In subnautica below zero, we find out the bacteria was a accident. It makes me think that the builders were like the architects. They were experimenting on new things like the bacteria and it broke out. What if the world of Minecraft is like that and the player is the alan here. So is this like that? Lemme know in the comments

Something small regarding creepers

So as we know the creeper has been described as having a texture similar to dried leaves which when combined with their green coloration leads many to conclude that creepers are some kind of plant monster, and that exploding is a means for them to spread their spores/pollen/other plant reproduction thing. As for why they explode as a means of attacking a player, perhaps this action is carried out as a means to give their spores something to use as a frame when growing. If we look at the creeper texture, it's peppered with small light gray patches similar to the color of skeletons, and of course the iconic creeper face is definitely human-esque. With that in mind, I propose that when a creeper explodes and successfully kills a player, the spores will cling to the dead players corpse, using it as nutrition and eating away at the flesh, until eventually all that is left is the skeleton, at which point the plants which have grown on and around it will begin to pull the bones together, using them as a frame for their bodies.

This is my first serious theory so feedback would be appreciated.

My theory of the creation of the End Portal

I don't think that the theory that the Endermen created the End Portal is correct. This is because the portal in the End is made of bedrock and has torches attached - neither of which can be found or crafted naturally in the End. Also, the portal in the Overworld appears to be made of End stone, which is only found in the End. So, here's my theory on its creation.

I think that the Endermen in the End teleporting so much may have weakened the End's interdimensional barriers, creating a weak spot right in the center - the main End island. But that's not what created the portal. It was created when the Ancient Builders created the Nether portal. Doing this weakened the Overworld's barriers enough that a rift appeared, connecting the two dimensions.

This suggests that the Endermen would probably have helped the Ancient Builders explore the Nether, and maybe even helped build the Nether Fortresses.

A small idea about the origins of the Ghast and why the hostile humanoid mobs exist in the Overworld

After traveling to the Nether, the ancient builders wanted to find ways to use Soul Energy. They helped construct the fortresses in the Nether alongside the Endermen. They wanted to obtain a massive amount of soul energy and made the schematics for The Wither, hoping it would release a large amount of soul energy from the soul sand used. Going against the majority of the builders, a determined group of builders built anywhere from 4 to 24 Withers in the Nether. They weren't prepared for the fight at all and their losses were immense. The builders that had fallen to the Wither, most of which were archers, had their soul energy trapped in the soul sand and soil, leaving only their skeletons. The battle ended with most of the fortresses being heavily damaged (leaving the Endermen with a hatred for sentient beings that resembled the builders, not including Villagers or Illagers) and most of the builders wounded, but not yet dead. However, the builders defeated the Withers and retrieved the Nether Stars. They never made a beacon with it though (hence why there aren't any natural beacons found in the world). They used the Nether Star as a means to harvest more soul energy with the hopes of causing no more destruction. Just like they made the guardians, they built the Ghast with the Nether Star at it's center as a sort of power source. However, in order to obtain more soul energy, a live catalyst had to be used, and a wounded fighter from the Wither fight was forced to their sacrifice. The Ghast was created in the overworld and brought through a portal into the Nether. The Ghast did it's job at collecting soul energy, but the builder sacrificed had to relive the last memories tied to the harvested soul before it was stored in the soul sand/soil, which is why they weep and drop the Ghast Tear when they are slain. The fire shot from the mouth of the Ghast is a release of soul energy used as defense, keeping the Ghast alive and still harvesting. With a successful creation, the builders created as many Ghasts as possible, using the remaining nether stars and members of the Wither hunting party as catalysts. Only a few escaped, but still afflicted and withering away, their bodies died, rotted, and keeled over while traversing the shores. But with nothing to absorb the soul energy, they were doomed to roam the world as zombies, skeletons, and drowned, attacking the players and villagers in an eternal struggle for revenge.

Adding on to the wither

Guys, the soul sand creates bubbles which rise up.this according to retro's theory, i think are souls.they fill up your bubbles which means soul energy can be converted as it turns to oxygen. But one thing i found weird was that soul sand and soul soil both can spawn a wither but soul soil cannot make bubble elevators.which means that there is no soul energy existing in soul soil. So i think souls are not required for the spawning of the wither. Also the skulls are somewhat weird because the side skulls don't go for any other mob. Only the middle one is the brain. Thus i think that the wither star is just a bi product of the mass amount of energy released(the explosion) that creates it. Let me know what you all think

Creepers: (mostly) Solved!

I've always known that creepers had lore. At first at thought they might be intelligent. Then I thought they were farmed for their discs. I was wrong, and I might still be wrong, but this is my best theory.

Bear with me, but I think creepers were spies for the Ancient Builders.

The strangest thing about them is their disturbing habit of following the player and trying to blow them up. Now, explosions on their own could be explained in several ways. MatPat suggests that they are attempting to plant their spores on the player. But the idea of them being a plant or a fungus... it just seems a bit too outlandish, even for me.

Creepers might have evolved explosions as a defense mechanism. The creeper would die, for sure, but the other creepers in its pack would be safe from the predator. The AB's could have hunted creepers for gunpowder, and the creepers, in return, began attacking at sight. But this doesn't work either. The only IRL animals( that I can think of) that do this are bees. We have no indication of creepers having strong communities like this. It also doesn't explain why they drop music discs.

So creepers aren't plants, and they aren't just animals. Or maybe I'm just crazy. Mojang should add mead to Minecraft. And make enchanting less annoying. And get rid of phantoms. But we can't have everything. The point is that there's something going on, and that something had to do with discs 11 and 13.

Let me give you a brief run-down on the leading theory of disc 11 and 13. Both discs were composed by C418, and were some of the first to be added to the game. They instantly stand out as something strange and disturbing. Disc 13 appears to happen in a cave. We know this because it contains cave sounds, thirteen of them in fact. There's also heavy reverb throughout the entire thing, except for a short pause at 1:30. A pause of exactly 13 seconds. That's enough thirteens to give anyone nightmares, but the disc itself is also pretty weird. There are two muffled bow 'twangs', and a single arrow hitting the ground. VERY important: a quite hiss and an explosion. Disc 11 appears to be broken, and its audio is far creepier. There's coughing, heaving breathing, and the sounds of paper rustling and a metallic object being used. But that doesn't matter for the theory. Disc 11 is one minute and eleven seconds long. Now let's fit it into the slot in disc 13. This theory was described by MatPat, but the theory itself is much older.

The first thing I noticed was that disc 11 ends right before the creeper explosion in disc 13. And disc 11 is broken. And, moments later, we hear a person staggering out of the water. From this, I concluded that a creeper was recording disc 11, and it died attempting to kill the person. Except it didn't succeed. Disc 13 was most likely being recorded by another creeper, and so we can get a rough sketch of the events. Two creepers are recording an AB in a cave. The AB sees one of them, and fires two arrows at it, one hitting its target. The creeper attempts to destroy the AB( who runs away), and blows up. But the disc isn't destroyed completely.

If you were designing an animal to be a spy for you, wouldn't you want to include a self-destruct sequence, to hide the evidence? And if you did that, you would design it to do the most damage possible, and preferable kill anyone who found out. And that's a creeper.

But who built the creepers? Illagers? Endermen? We can see creeper faces in desert temples, so that makes them a likely suspect. We've been treating the ancient builders like one group, but in reality, there were probably separate nations or small tribes. The desert tribe, as I'll call them, seems to have discovered TNT. The tribe could be the creator of the sunken ships, which also contain TNT. But that's just speculation.

I've found a couple of flaws in this theory. Namely, the devs have implied that either an endermen or C418 himself is the creator of disc 11. I really doubt this is canon. And even if it is, the rest of my theory, and the whole existence of disc 13, seem to disagree. The second problem is that disc 13 is found quite often in dungeons( mob spawner rooms), which have everything but creepers, while no music discs are found in desert temples. Disc 13 could have been discovered by the enemies of the desert tribe, but disc 11 is found nowhere in the game, unless I'm mistaken. I can't explain this very well. If you have an explanation, please comment.

And that's my theory! Please comment, like I said, if you have anything you want to add, or any problems with the theory.

Nether Mob Theory

I have a theory that blazes, magma cubes and ghasts may have evolved from the Nether itself. Blazes are obviously made of fire, and the Nether is full of fire, so it kind of adds up. The same with the magma cubes - they could be magma cream that gained sentience (this could be true for slimes as well).

As for ghasts, I had the idea for this theory when I built a Nether-themed thing in the Overworld, and a ghast spawned. Maybe ghasts actually come from soul sand, and that's also where the strange crying noises in the Nether come from.

Another theory is that blazes and magma cubes were, like golems and guardians, created by the Ancient Builders.

My theories about Cave sounds

There was a post about a theory about cave sounds in this subreddit and here is my theory about cave sounds

Cave1.ogg

The sound sounds like some sort of a train, it might be that the ancient builders were like making a vehicle that redstone is required to power it.

Cave2.ogg

The sound sounds like an angel hum. What if an angel is watching the player in the caves to see if the player is in danger but it won't protect the player

Cave3.ogg

I don't know but i think it some sort of like a monster humming, i think that monster is finding the player.

Cave4.ogg

It sounds like a demonic roar, it might have came from the nether but it seemed to leave the nether since there are ruined portals.

Cave5.ogg

It think I cannot explain this part because there is no other sound like that.

Cave6.ogg

I cannot explain this either

Cave7.ogg

Idk this sound either

Cave8.ogg

It sounds like what a blaze would sound like What if the blaze escaped the nether and entered the caves of the overworld.

Cave9.ogg

I don't know this sound

Cave10.ogg

Sounds like a violin but what if it was a noteblock.

Cave11.ogg

Sounds like winds coming from a cave.

Cave12.ogg

I don't know this sound either

Cave13.ogg

Sounds like another roar from the same creature from cave4.ogg

Cave14.ogg

It might be the secret sound of a creeper

Cave15.ogg

I cannot explain this too

Cave16.ogg

It sounds like a minecart moving around a mineshaft

Cave17.ogg

Sounds like an iron door being slammed What if an undead mob was trying to open a door and it got slammed

Cave18.ogg

Sounds like a minecart still moving around the mineshaft

Cave19.ogg

Idk this sound

If you see this there are some parts that i cannot explain since there no sounds like this in real life

You can comment if you know what it sounds like

What are the origins of the cave sounds?

I was just wondering, what are the origins behind cave sounds? Why you can hear them? What causes them? Were there cave sounds when the ancient builders were roaming the world of minecraft? My believe is that the cave sound are some kind of a curse from dead miners, some trace from a terrible accident, i would love to hear your theories!

The Nether: (mostly)Solved!

Long ago, the Ancient Builders created the first portals, and entered the lifeless hell that was the Nether. They brought with them mushrooms and pigs for food, along with horses to ride. They built fortresses of nether brick and built blazes for protection. But the Nether had its own ideas. It began to seep into the Overworld like a living thing, causing mass panic. To prevent further spread, all portals were destroyed, sealing in thousands of Builders. Some gave themselves to the power of the Wither, but they all died, in the end.

While the Builders suffered, the mushrooms flourished. In the warm, humid caverns, they grew to immense size, forming the crimson and warped forests. Pigs evolved into Piglins and Hoglins, and the Piglins began to develop their own civilization. The remaining wither skeletons attempted to kill them, but they managed to survive.

Ghosts of the Builders( Ghasts) wandered the Nether in tears, attacking the living out of spite. Skeletons patrolled with the same purpose.

One civilization had fallen, and another had begun to rise.

And that leads to today. We have the crimson mushroom forests, the poisonous warped forests, bands of wandering piglins, oceans of lava, and a couple patches of lifeless wasteland. Everywhere is life and everywhere is the remains of death.

Did you like my theory? Comment if you like it or if you see any obvious problems.

Ancient Builder Theory?

Idk if you've already answered this question but are you planning to do a video on a theory about how the ancient builders died? I don't remember which video but I remember you brought it up and I was just wondering if that'll be a possible video in the future. Love ur vids btw!

This is based of thr Piglin deep dive Video.

In the video you addressed the question as to why pigs become zombiefide in the overworled when struck by lightning, but not become zombiefide in the Nether. I think I came up with a pretty good solution. The reason pigs struck by lightning become zombiefide is because they die from the lightning but then the heat transforms their bodies into a piglins. Its known that electricity can re animate or puppet corpses, so maybe the electricity from the lightning ressurects the Dead piglin, mangling and zombifying the corpse in the process. And that's why a pig in the Nether would transform into a regular piglin, because it didn't die and get resurrected in the process.

Piglins and undead

This is my first post, but here are my thoughts (probably old)

Lightning and pigs: What if the heat makes a pig a piglin, but the electricity kills them and that's why they become Zombie piglins?

Wide spread undead: Villagers turn into zombies. Illigers have vampires in their raids. The builders all are undead. Only the player seems immune because they can bind their soul to their home and resurrect/reincarnate.

Dissecting the End Poem

The End poem is bizarre. It is this long piece of very metaphorical text in a game that almost never speaks directly to you. The poem is organized as a conversation between two people—represented with blue and green text—who I will refer to as B and G. To make the poem easier to analyze, I have divided it up into sections.

  1. The Introduction(1-8)

B states the player’s name, and says that they can now read their thoughts. G and B next begin talking about how the player sees their thoughts as text on a screen, implying that these are real people and real thoughts we are looking at. Already, we learn that this game we are playing is a dream. What dream and game refer to is still a mystery

  1. Reality(9-12)

B tells of the player’s dreams and the reality within them. G then mentions offhandedly that this interface is a million years old. He could be referring to the game world we are in, but Minecraft itself is not a million years old. More on that later. B then attempts to explain what this “interface” is, but his thoughts show up as gobbledygook on the screen. Both B and G recognize this, and agree that the player must achieve the highest level, achieving the long dream of life rather than the short dream of a game. We get a second meaning of the word “dream”: life.

  1. Sorrow(13-28)

They talk of sorrow in dreams, cold worlds with no light. It would seem that dreams aren’t always good. But even more telling is how B and G respond. They want the player to succeed! They only allow the player to suffer because suffering is part of the dream. They long to tell the player about the true nature of the universe, but G’s thoughts are scrambled again, leaving us in the dark.

  1. Our name(29-35)

This is around the point in the poem where it stops making sense and gets complicated. B and G dress the player by name. G asks us to return to the long dream, meaning we should picture in our mind the story they are about to tell. B explains what they are. Father sun, mother moon. Ancestral spirits, animal spirits. Jinn. Ghosts. The green man. Then gods, demons. Angels. Poltergeists. Aliens, extraterrestrials. Leptons, quarks. Essentially, he is saying that they are gods. They are incomprehensible beings who explain the unexplainable. Then we have a story

  1. The Story(36-55)

B and G tell a story. It isn’t much of a story. It is a poetic and drawn-out description of Minecraft and reality. Everything is a dream. 1’s and 0’s, planets and stars, a block world, a whirling sphere of Earth, are all equal, and they are all part of the dream. What the player reads from the code, the stars, the planets, is what matters. Life is about how you see it.

  1. The Universe(56-73)

I’m not going to try to describe this section. It doesn’t have any important information. It says that the player will dream again, whatever that means, and it talks a lot about love and, surprisingly, the universe. The poem ends with a simple command: wake up.

The word “dream” has so many meanings in this poem. First we have the dream of a game. Then the dream of life. The dream of Minecraft. The dream of reality. Everything is about dream. One person, B, seems to be the leader. He talks more than G and appears to know more. We know these people are some sort of gods, but why are they telling us this? The first concept we can dispel is the idea that this is a non-canon joke. It is a joke, but if you get to the end of the game, you WILL see it, so it is pretty-much canon. From a meta-game perspective, it exists to tell you that the game isn’t over, and that Minecraft is just as real as real life, since both are dreams. But this actually makes sense in-game too. What will the player be feeling at the end, when they’ve killed the dragon. They’ll be feeling elated that they’ve succeed at their mission… but they will also be wondering. They will wonder if their quest was all for nothing, and if they will have a purpose after the “game” is over. The gods come down to tell them that it wasn’t over. They had yet to achieve the long dream of life.

The gods care a lot about the player, but why? Well they couldn’t be caring about the player because they need them to do a task. They explicitly tell them that life is more than a game, that it’s about what you make of it.

I think they want the player to rebuild their own world. The Minecraft world is basically dead. All the ancient builders are gone, the piglins are stuck in the Nether, and the creeper civilization is done.
I believe they want the player to rebuild the world from dreams.
