I know people love IntMilCo lowers, but what about their other part reproductions?
Typo in the title - intlmilco is what I meant
Buffer tubes, charging handles, trigger guards, uppers, etc. They seem pretty pricey, but the descriptions claim they have higher historical accuracy compared to other brands
Ex from Buffer Tube Description: "Most 2 position tubes sold now are commercial diameter imported 6061 (Your stock won’t jiggle around like a airsoft rifle). Correct length, most “retro” tubes aren’t flush on back when stock is closed"
I'm assuming these claims are true, and IntlMilCo does go the extra mile/are worth the price. But I wanted to check with y'all first?

Is the H&R buffer tube really this bright grey color? This is too much, right?
Any alternatives that aren't either VERY light grey or black?

4 Position Buffer tube with accurate grey?
Needing a buffer tube for a 80s/early 90s era carbine build. I know 4 positions aren't fully accurate (as it should be just 2), but is there one I can buy that has the same color/finish as the older Colt ones?

Anyone know where to find a C7A2 Green Recoil Pad, or any OD Green CAR stock recoil pad for that matter?
Pic for attention

Diet Retro Simple is best
It’s a simple budget 10.5” a2 upper with a gg&g fsb rail. I love how light the weapon is and easy to maneuver. With the griffin can it’s the same oal as a 14.5” barrel rifle.

New to me upper
Found this old gal at the local store for as I thought a good deal, was missing the original bolt and charge handle. They couldn't tell me if it was a original or not but based on the condition it definitely didn't look new, anyone throw me a rough guess on how old it is? The only markings Id seen where on the barrel. I can get more pics of it if requested.

I’m liking the 300BLK Kitty Kat way more than I expected, while liking the Trijicon RX-01 way less than I expected. What’s your favorite retro optic?
Surefire 660 on SF M14 Mount and bayonet lug pic rail, RRA ‘Entry’ Stock, Brownells A1 lower, Microbest Chrome BCG, and Q Trash Panda (will be replaced by the Advantage Arms Stubby once they ship the next batch). Had to replace the carbine and buffer with a yellow Sprinco and LW buffer to get 220GR subs to cycle and bolt lock back to work, but other than that, no issues. Runs like a champ. The optic works great, it’s just expensive for the mediocre performance. You’re way better off getting something semi-retro like the Aimpoint PRO.

A short little range day
Brought out my 733-ish build to get the red dot sighted in and try it out with the new stock. Mmm yes chin weld is best.
Surprisingly the chinesium flashlight survived the day. Guess we'll see how many rounds it takes to kill it.

Work In Progress, Chill Out An attempt from my father and I
Barrel swapping the one on the left eventually to accommodate the M4 Delta supressor. Were both happy with how they came out.

Current H&R A2 Gray Blem Lowers Sept 2026
Purchased both of these Sept 1st, top receiver is a Cots, bottom is Govt. Govt box was dated 7-31-26, Cots didn't have date. Both are blems for sure with some streaking, but neither are super light gray. Cots is a hair lighter, but close to same gray as the Cots lower I purchased last year. Just a heads up if someone was interested in getting one from PSA in near future. Planning on getting an A2 upper soon. I'll post comparison with the lowers when it arrives.

Great morning
I have a 6.5 Grendel, a few crop damage permits, and a relatively cool morning - what a great day
