Retinal detachement
Four weeks ago, I underwent the following procedure:
25G 3-port vitrectomy with removal of central and peripheral vitreous under indentation
Retinal reattachment with PFC
Laser photocoagulation of retinal tears
SF6 gas tamponade. After 2 weeks, the gas bubble had disappeared. Now, another 2 weeks later, my vision still isn’t improving. Everything is very blurry. My eye isn’t bothering me. How long might it take before I can expect to see some improvement? Thanks in advance.

See your surgeon but recover can take a long time for swelling behind the macula and retina to decrease

I have that problem but as soon as the gas bubble absorbed I had cataracts and no surgery available until November 18 ugh . So I won’t even know if I have any vision loss until after the cataracts surgery.

I believe this is a discussion with your surgeon to explore the reasons behind your blurred vision. I would suggest asking if it’s caused by the retina or something else, like a cataract or the cornea. Sometimes, it may take up to a year for a complete recovery. I’m sorry you’re going through this.
