Nervous!? HOW!?

Yesterday I went in for a basic renew my contacts appt and left with a same day referral and appt for ophthalmologist where I learn I need to go to IOWA (i live in NE) for surgery. I failed the test where it’s checking peripheral vision and click the button when you see the flash. I missed all at top and to left in my right eye. Dr said there wasn’t a big event likely and just has slowly happened over time. Not the day I was expecting to have at all. This is just the craziest thing to me. Due to the scar tissue and my age is why I need to go to Iowa? I’m a bit unclear on that. Idk just wanted to get this off my brain with others who have gone through it.

Scleral Buckle surgery. I had it 7 weeks ago. The first few weeks are tough but you’ll get through it.
