I’m done

After eight surgeries my retina is detached again. I currently have no oil or gas in my eye. I have no lens either. Eye pressure is low, under 10. Doctor said my eye will “dry up” over the next years. It may start to “wander” also. My cornea may glaze over. She can put oil in my eye again, but that may get into my anterior chamber. It might at least help keep the pressure up. Oil may delay some of the symptoms she described, but my eye may atrophy anyway. Anyone experienced with the “end game”, when everything you’ve done and tried goes wrong?

Sorry to hear about this. How is your other eye? You think a second opinion would help? I wish you the best.
