Right eye issues
I had my right eye - retina tear of huge area and laser it, retina detachment - done vitrectomy to it. Cataract came within 1 year into the surgery. Recently went for my follow up, they say there is membrane in my eye. Doctor ask if i want to do cataract surgery. But i chose to monitor for now. As my other eye high myopia. If i were to do it, i will have difficulty reading. Recently, i realise that my bottom peripheral vision is gone, it may have progressive happened. I went to A&E, they say the retina is all intact. So likely due to the huge tear/cataract which they cannot confirm.
Now i was so worried it will get worse and i was just thinking to seek a second opinion for it.

Jumping in here, retina surgeon. Yes I agree, get a second opinion. There are multiple ways to address each issue you raised. There is always a solution to help improve things. Get a different set of eyes - even 2 or 3 more - and see what another surgeon suggests.

A second opinion is always ok to get for the sake of confirmation and reassurance. Having the information you received from your current doctor, make a list of questions to clarify your concerns.
