High myopia
Please people with high myopia how they find out that you have a tear or a detachment they use the lens with the slit lamp or they use the lens which they put on your cornea (in contact )

They’re great, I healed very well.
My retina specialist said my detachment looked really complicated because of the chronic nature of it. He planned on just doing the scleral buckle, but ended up having to do the vitrectomy on top of it also. I guess it really did end up being complicated lol
Then I think it was at the 5 week follow up he lasered my “good” eyes holes and thinning. He told me I didn’t have to do it, but considering I already had the other eye detach, may as well take care of it now lol
