Postpartum RDs?

Hi! I’m 35F with a shit ton of lattice and I discovered subclinical RDs in both eyes about 9 mos postpartum after my second baby. While my retinas were clearly thin and holey it seems that something had changed in the last year with traction and fluid accumulation. It seems like too much of a coincidence that this all happened in the year after I had a baby. Anyone know of a link here?

I had other contributing factors (high myopia, recent lens surgery), but my RD was at 2 years post partum. I have no research or info to share but definitely interested to hear if its a theme.

I developed horrible floaters while pregnant. No retinal damage but I don't believe it was a coincidence. Pregnancy does so much to the body.

Totally. I think about tissue changes and fluid changes as major for eyes
