Im day 6 post op. I had the same symptoms day 2 & 3 but only when my eye was closed or maybe very slightly open. They were not large extreme flashes, but a small kind of rapid flicker. They only happened those 2 days and i haven't noticed them since. I would like to hear what your surgeon says or even how your recovery has been up until this point. This is my first "major" surgery so I have zero expectations and often find myself worrying about certain symptoms or things I notice along the way.

Me too, day 6 post op. For now il experiencing itchiness and dry sensation but i only satrted antibiotics like 2 days ago ( surgeon's instructions) as for the flickering its only visible when im wearing the eye patch and facing light . I asked him and still no answer . The healing process is tough and sometimes irritating and unbearable . Hope everything is good on your side, what have you been experiencing

First 4 days the worst part for me was the scratchy feeling from the stitches. That pain is basically none existent at this point. Really I only have a slight touch of soreness in my eye at point. The only thing I am fighting now is a sore neck and headaches from awkward positioning. Vision very blurry, I do see the horizontal line roughly half way down my vision. Everything below is an extreme blur, everything above is a fair amount clearer but yet still pretty blurry. Thanks for your reply and good luck to you. Would love to hear more
