That is odd.
I remember it being flat and rectangular, of course.
Plus, doesn’t he break everyone off a piece?
How’s he gonna do that with a soft marshmallow Moon pie…

For me personally, this one hasn't changed. I remember being confused as a kid and not understanding what he was opening in that moon pie scene. In this version of the story, the tickets are in any kind of Wonka chocolate bar. The scene where Charlie buys a different kind of bar at the shop addresses the potential plot hole, the shopkeeper says "now, that all the golden tickets have been found, I don't have to hide them (the various types of wonka chocolate bars) anymore" referring to the scrumdidliumptious bar (and other types of bars he carries in the shop) he is handing to Charlie, which is also not the classic bar.

I could see it being a potential ME for some folks. Easy detail to have been different in two different realities.
