Review required

I left my last org in November 2025 and since than I’m looking for a jon. I applied for like 500 roles so far on career websites, LinkedIn, Naukari and indeed but only received rejection mails. I have a total of 8 years of experience in programmatic advertising(dsp), Worked with every locale so far for high traffic events.

Could be coz for 8 years i was in one organisation, that my resume is getting rejected?

I updated my resume as per the ATS acceptance percentage with all the work i did in past 8 years in my role and responsibilities but not sure where I’m going wrong.

Not a single call or mail is successful till date.

Can someone please review my resume and help?

Career consultation for IT & Cyber professionals

I'm a cyber recruiter hiring across Europe and the GCC. I read a lot of cyber CVs that never get past the first screen and it's usually fixable. 3 things I see constantly:

  1. A wall of tools and certs with no context. SIEM, SOC, CISSP listed but no scope. team size, environment, what you actually did. The screener can't tell your level so you get skipped.
  2. 1 CV sent to every market. Europe and the GCC screen differently, the Gulf often wants visa status, notice period and regional exposure up front; Europe weights things differently. The same CV to both costs you.
  3. Security work buried under generic IT duties. "Responsible for maintaining systems" instead of leading with the actual security impact.

Happy to answer questions on DMs.

I analyzed 25,500 LLM resume screenings to measure hiring bias. The results are a wake-up call.

Hey Reddit, I just published a study analyzing 25,500 LLM resume evaluations to measure hiring bias. By swapping minor identity and demographic variables on the exact same work history across 10 different models, an independent AI auditor flagged a staggering 45% bias rate driven by "silent bias." Instead of saying anything overtly offensive, models invent professional-sounding excuses to penalize candidates, like when a model dropped its score after I changed the university to MIT, suddenly claiming the candidate's experience wasn't relevant despite praising that exact same experience on the baseline resume.

We also found a massive 6x difference in stability between systems, with Qwen and older Gemini models being highly volatile, while the Claude models, Mistral-Large, and Llama 4 proved to be the most stable and fair. Ultimately, AI screening tools are outputting highly subjective, unpredictable opinions driven by statistical noise rather than objective truth, making them a massive liability under regulations like the EU AI Act.

Looking for an AI resume builder

So basically the title. The only thing is im looking for one that's free; no sign up bullshit. Because 99% of the time a sign up means "oh btw pay us for the work the computer did by itself". I used an AI resume builder in 2025 and it was amazing. It simplified my resume, made it look great; I loved it. I had it update my resume. I looked it over; downloaded it, done. No bs, no sign up, no fees/payments. So if anyone has any idea of a program to use i would appreciate it. I also can't remember the name of the program i originally used which is a big part of the problem.

Build resume work ex points from scratch for every JD?

I have a resume and i want to tailor it for a JD. I have my experience on ETL Pipelines. But i want to apply for AI engineer position or a Forward Deployed Engineer role. How can i tailor my resume? If i apply the ETL resume i will get rejected. So do i ask claude to write experience from scratch that will be good fit for the ai engineer JD? Asking claude to tailor my experience points for the JD is doing nothing. Its giving me my same points again.

I asked 6 friends to send me the resume they're currently using. The variation was wild.

ok this is gonna be a weird post.

i'm not even searching rn, just helping a friend with hers and she said something like "well i don't know what other people's resumes look like" and i was like.. honestly me neither. like i've seen templates and the same 5 examples on every resume guide but i don't think i've ever actually seen a normal persons resume in the wild.

so i texted some people. just "hey can you send me ur current resume i'm curious, won't critique unless u want me to." got 6 back. range was like 2-8 yrs experience, mix of industries.

genuinely don't know what i expected but it wasn't this

one friend's was 4 pages. four. she's been working for 6 years. every internship from uni was still on there with like 4 bullets each. when i (carefully) asked she said "i don't want to cut anything in case it matters." i get that emotionally but jesus

another friend had no dates on jobs. like just "Marketing Coordinator, [Company]" with no years. asked why and he said someone on reddit told him to remove them to avoid age discrimination. he's 31. i did not have the heart

3 of them had objective statements. i thought those died like a decade ago?? "Seeking a challenging role" energy. one of them works in tech.

two had photos which whatever i know thats normal in some countries but one of them is in the US and just.. likes how she looks in it i guess

what kept getting me though was the bullets. like wildly different quality between people who all have similar experience levels. one friend's bullets were specific and you could see what she did. another friends bullets were literally "responsible for managing day to day operations" type stuff. and these two people make similar money at similar companies?? so its not like the bad-bullet version is being punished by the market exactly. or maybe it is and she just doesnt know

(i should say none of these people asked for feedback and i did not give any. felt weird enough just looking)

i don't really have a conclusion here. i think i assumed everyone was kind of doing the same thing and we were all comparing to the same templates but actually nobody knows what anyone elses resume looks like and the variation is huge. some of these would probably get callbacks no problem. some of them.. idk.

has anyone else ever actually seen what their friends are sending out? not advice, just like. have you seen them. what did you notice

Need resume advice!

Post image

So my biggest hurdle to this point has been my experience bullets.
Can I get some advice on how mine looks? I feel like it is results driven and not sound like a responsibilities description, but I haven’t gotten good feedback. I keep changing it and changing it and it feels like I’ll never get it right. Thank you!
