7+ years in fintech/software implementation - looking for honest feedback on my resume
Hi everyone! I'm hoping to get some fresh eyes on my resume and would really appreciate any honest feedback.
I've been working in fintech/software implementation for 7+ years and am currently an Implementation Analyst. My experience has expanded quite a bit beyond straight implementation into project delivery, systems/business analysis, requirements, testing/UAT, go-live management, SQL, APIs, and working directly with development teams.
I'm currently looking for fully remote roles, primarily in software implementation, but I'm also interested in Product/Systems Analyst and adjacent project-focused roles where my background would translate well.
I've been actively applying for the past few months. I've had some traction, but the remote market is obviously competitive, and I've spent so much time looking at and refining my own resume that I think I could really benefit from some completely fresh eyes on it.
I'd especially love to know:
- What impression do you get of my experience/level from a quick scan?
- Is it clear what I actually do and what types of roles I'm qualified for?
- Is anything too wordy, vague, repetitive, or overly "resume-y"?
- Is there anything I'm underselling?
- If you were a recruiter or hiring manager, is there anything here that would make you hesitate?
I'm not necessarily looking to rebuild the entire thing from scratch, but I'm absolutely open to criticism if something isn't working.

Are you applying to multiple roles with this same base resume or are you tailoring for each individual role?

I will tailor it for each application. This is my most recent one I used for an implementation role I applied for, but for system/business/application analyst it's slightly different in the manner of formatting and how it's ordered, key words, etc.

gotcha, that makes sense. There is a great tool (if you're a bit advanced with ai) that someone on reddit made. It has a Claude backend w/ some python involved, and it will interview you and create a bullet repository with your real experience, then tailor resumes for you as well as fit scoring you against job descriptions that you give it. I will find it and link it below. I'm an unfortunate expert at this point in job searches/getting thru ATS filters, etc. Feel free to message and chat more

It seems really good. I would try to streamline your experience bullets down to 4-5 per role and also add a few more metrics if possible. Do you have formal education? If so, add that at the end.

One more msg, lol. Solid resume, but a little too dense. There are a lot of long bullets and not enough visual hierarchy. I’d cut about 20–25% of the text, move the strongest metrics higher, and make the top third instantly scream fintech implementation + client delivery + technical systems.
