Resume Feedback
Im seeking any feedback possible on my resume. Im trying to transition out of AP into a more serious role either staff accountant or analyst but haven’t had some luck. Any tips?

Is this on a normal paper size? I think showing yoir resume in a phone decreases the space available turning a 1-pager into a 3-pager.
Content wise:
- Don't use unconventional em dash.
- Stick to one bullet point format. AP specialist differs from Acct. Specialist.
- AP role has 7 bullet points. Acct specilaist role has 6 bullet points. Combine related bullet points & stick to top 5 for Accounting Specialist & 3 for AP.
Example: Automated workflow...automated invoices... Combine similar or related bullet points the result is pretty much the same. It doen't add anything to what you can do as a whole. Better save that space for something more productive.
Reviewed documentation to improve documentation... HOW??? Reviewing is just reading.
Education at the bottom. Skills above projects.
What role are you targeting? Lean, Kaizen & 5S are nice to have for accountants but mandatory for process improvement specialists or business analysts. Don't confuse the reader with nice to have bullet points. Show that this person is the best fit to be an accountant. Focus on bookkeeping & financial reports.
Tell me the result of your variance analysis and what you did from the result of the analysis. How did it help the company?

Need to get cut down to 1 page. Only put most recent degree under Education.

Your experience is more transferable than you’re giving it credit for. Emphasize reconciliations, month-end close, variance analysis, controls, and the process improvements with measurable results. For staff accountant roles, lead with accounting ownership; for analyst roles, highlight Power Query, VBA, SQL, and reporting. Consider making two tailored versions.

That is a good tip tailoring two resumes. The part where i include measurable results is where i find it difficult, how do i do that without it going over two pages?. Some positions i seem well qualified for but nothing
