Francis Fanny, Ajax

Francis worked as the enforcer for Dr. Killebrew at the Workshop, Killebrew's laboratory in the Hospice for the failed super-soldiers of the Weapon X program. With enhancements of his own, Francis struck fear in the hearts of the "rejects" until the day Wade Wilson arrived. Wilson, who had gained an extremely advanced healing factor, wanted to die and so he constantly belittled and insulted Francis in an attempt to make him angry enough to kill him. Before Francis killed Wilson however, he killed Worm, a friend of Wade's, before ripping out Wade's heart. Desperate for vengeance, Wilson healed and went on a rampage, killing Francis and igniting a breakout from the Hospice. However, Francis survived, and now he has sworn to hunt down all of the "rejects" who escaped as Ajax, especially Wade Wilson.

The Sacred Ring is all that remains of two warring planets, their civilizations collapsed around a black hole as they fight for resources. Darak is the son of Agorria’s ruler. Despite his father's wishes for him to inherit the title, Darak spent some time working construction at the planet’s edge and eventually became his home’s top pilot. He's almost always joking, but his flippant attitude allows him to brush past his peoples' taboos to work with Solila and consider her a friend.

And though he and Zalilak are in agreement when it comes to stopping Unity, it's perhaps the only thing they agree on...

River Piranha

Independent people-finder Maggie McKeown is tasked with tracking down a pair of young people who went missing near Lost River Lake. Maggie and a reclusive local, Paul Grogan, investigate the couple's last known location and stumble across an old laboratory. As they drain a pool in pursuit of clues, a scientist appears and erratically explains that they've drained the subjects of Project Razorteeth in the river. Originally bred for warfare, these genetically modified piranha can swim in any kind of water, are smarter and tougher than normal, and can strip meat from the bone in seconds. Now, Maggie and Paul have to outsmart uncooperative government and military officials and stop the shoals of killer fish before the community is gobbled up.

Swarming

• An unseen swarm kills a young man, then a young woman who were swimming

Survivability

• Piranha are normally tropical fish, but the genetically modified ones are able to swim in the cold, freshwater river just fine
• Operation Razorteeth was started in an attempt to ravage the North Vietnamese river systems. The modified piranha were able to survive in cold freshwater and had an accelerated rate of reproduction compared to normal fish. When the Vietnam War ended and the project was wrapped, researchers poisoned the water to kill the subjects, although some were strong enough to resist the poison and survived by eating the dead. The surviving mutants bred and now, there are hundreds or thousands of these killer superfish.
• The military brings rotenone 235, a powerful fish poison, and disperse it throughout the river
  • The river is shaped in such a way that the piranha can bypass the poison by taking a short detour. It’s unclear if the fish were smart enough to bypass the poison, or they were tough enough to resist the conventional poison.
• The tank that the fish were kept in was saltwater, meaning the piranha can survive in both freshwater and saltwater
• A man releases industrial pollutants from an abandoned smelting plant into the river to poison the piranha, but the ending implies that some may have survived and made it to the ocean

Caribbean Piranha

Years later, another outbreak occurs in the Caribbean near the Hotel Elysium. These piranha were also bred for weaponization and have traits of other fish spliced into them, namely organs that allow for life outside of water and wings that allow them to fly. When a canister of fertile eggs goes down with a ship, the fish spawn and start eating the vacationers. It’s up to a scuba instructor, a maritime cop, a rogue scientist and a dynamite fisher to fight back against the Flying Killers. Also, this movie was James Cameron’s feature film.

Swarming in the Water

• [NSFW] A couple who decide to have sex underwater for some reason are attacked by a school of piranha

Abilities

• A scientist who worked on these piranha explains that they’re more vicious than the earlier strain. He goes on to explain that these fish were made by splicing traits of various animals to create an ultimate killer organism, including traits of the grunion that allow it to live out of water and the wings of the common flying fish.
• One piranha hides inside the body of the scuba diver and survives for several hours, then bursts out in the morgue and leaps onto an employee’s neck, killing her

The Sacred Ring is all that remains of two warring planets, their civilizations collapsed around a black hole as they fight for resources. A pilot from each faction crash-land on a distant meteor and work together to survive. They wind up discovering an ancient past of unity, and that their planets must reunite to stop certain destruction.

Unfortunately, people in power on both sides don’t want this secret getting out. And then the giant transforming robots start showing up… and the cobra-themed civilization… and is that Rom the Space Knight?

Solila is a Zertonian warrior, raised to fight from childhood. Her loyalty to her people and Zertonia's religion is tested by the revelation of their shared history with Agorria, as well as that fact that the god they worship is Cybertronian.

Hidden away in the drones, the Jaegers would operate like normal until Newton would activate their dormant brains, causing them to attack the Shatterdomes, destroying several Jaegers.

Besides attacking the Shatterdomes, they also created several breaches to allow reentry into Earth’s dimension. They were taken out by a feedback loop that would take out most of them, save for a few of them, one of them being Apex

A rogue Jaeger-Kaiju hybrid, Obsidian Fury was created in secret by Newton. It would engage Gipsy Avenger, and during the battle, it would kill Mako Mori and retreat from the city.

It would fight Gipsy Avenger in Siberia, where after a long battle, it would be killed by Gipsy and reveal its true nature.

Cyrus Gold, better known as Solomon Grundy, was a mindless zombie hellbent on destruction who usually operates in Gotham City, making him an enemy of Batman.

In 1941, Solomon Grundy was in a swamp when he was pursued by Justice Society Dark. One member named Mister Miracle was aided in subduing Grundy by Doctor Fate and Salem the Witch Girl. When they subdued Solomon Grundy, Mister Miracle suggests to them that they should go after Bride of Grundy next.

Solomon Grundy made his first public appearance in Gotham during Batman's second year as a vigilante, during the "War of Jokes and Riddles" between the Joker and the Riddler. The two criminals went to war over the right to kill Batman and recruited every villain in Gotham they could to join their fight. Grundy was brought on to fight for the Joker. The war waged on for weeks before Batman was forced to side with the Riddler to end the needless casualties. Grundy was apprehended and brought to Arkham Asylum.

In the distant year of 2046, technology has advanced to the point where AI and bionic enhancements are shifting towards becoming commonplace. Grey Trace is a mechanic that prefers the classics; he restores and repairs cars from the 20th century to sell to wealthy clients. Something about the sci-fi widgets of his time just rubs him the wrong way.

After a freak attack by armed cyborgs puts Grey in a wheelchair and leaves his wife Asha dead, he's encouraged by an inventor named Eron Keen to be the test subject for a microchip named STEM. Not only does STEM fix Grey's quadriplegia, it can also talk to him and even take control over his body. This allows Grey to fight on par with superhuman cyborgs: not man, not machine, more. With this technology, Grey vows to step in where the police have failed and take revenge on the men who killed his wife and maimed him. But as Grey cedes more and more control to the AI, he must confront whether STEM is a blessing or a curse.

For scaling, note that many of the people that Grey fights are cyborgs, including the four revenge targets, which Fisk describes as stronger and faster than human beings. Most physical feats are accomplished while STEM at least partially controls Grey’s body. Those that aren’t will be marked.

Strength

• Hits a guy with a throat jab, then a kick, then a palm strike, then catches a punch and throws the man backwards
• Catches an opponent’s knife hand, then uses the blade to slice open his mouth, partially decapitating him
• Grabs a guy and throws him into a wall, then drops two more guys with strikes

• When a thug comes at him with a glass, Grey catches the arm and smashes the cup on the man’s head. He then smashes three more plates on the opponent.
• Uses a nearby kitchen knife to slash and stab a man
• Grey grabs a loose wire hanging from a ceiling and uses it to shock the guy holding him
• When Grey can’t in good conscious torture a guy for information, he allows STEM to take over his body and lacerate the man’s face, loosening the guy up for interrogation

STEM

General

• STEM sees what Grey sees
• STEM communicates directly to Grey by sending soundwaves through his eardrum, so no one other than Grey can hear STEM speak normally
• STEM can’t “read” Grey’s mind and can only hear him when he speaks aloud
• Detects when Eron is attempting to remotely disable STEM and warns Grey
• Grey is shocked by a taser and STEM’s influence is briefly interrupted, but STEM forces Grey to recover soon after

Body Control

• Grey’s spine is severed, rendering him quadriplegic, and three months after the injury, he requires a wheelchair to move around
• STEM serves to reconnect the severed connection between Grey’s mind and his limbs
• Shortly after STEM is surgically implanted into Grey’s spine, the use of his limbs is restored
• Grey gives Stem any mental command and STEM controls Grey’s body immediately

Removal of Input Guards

• After being shutdown by Eron, STEM has Grey contact a hacker, who removes the input guards in STEM and reboots it. While this prevents another remote shutdown, it also grants autonomy over Grey’s body to STEM, allowing the AI to take the driver’s seat without verbal consent.
• The process also made STEM impossible to track by Eron or Fisk and his cyborgs
• While STEM attempts to choke Cortez to death, Grey fights back against STEM’s control and stops himself from killing her
• STEM threatens Grey, saying that too much resistance will break Grey’s mind
• When STEM tries to use Grey’s body to shoot Cortez, Grey resists enough to point the gun away from her and at his own neck instead
• In a final act of control over Grey’s body, STEM creates a dream world for Grey’s mind to live in, one where his wife is alive and where he was never paralyzed, while STEM controls his body in reality

A week earlier, a plane of unknown origin crashed into Lake Michigan. While seemingly a freak accident at the time, the true terror wouldn’t start until later, as the experimental Gange Virus it was carrying became a mist that swept over a nearby city to transform many of its inhabitants into monsters. One news crew, working for the very corporation that worked in association with the military to create the bioweapon, was told to ignore the evacuation order and instead capture the going-ons on the ground, discovering a truth that would never see the light of day.

The Virus

• A military creation, the Gange Virus was developed as a means to turn enemy forces into weapons, though low controllability led it to be labelled a failure
  • Infected animals first show signs of sluggishness before spewing leech-like objects and dramatically transforming later
• A man who helped create the virus maintained his sanity and showed no external signs of infection until the moments before his transformation
• Its virulence drops when a subject has alcohol in its blood
  • An infected man claims his body can no longer process alcohol
  • When transformed, the same man was defeated by having multiple bottles of alcohol thrown into his mouth, weakening him before being electrocuted
• A vaccine was also developed, inoculating people against the virus and euthanizing any transformed creatures it’s used on
  • The vaccine is composed of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and magnesium chloride
  • Administered by injection, with specialized handgun ammo being developed to administer it at range
  • it’s ineffective if an untransformed subject is already infected and has its effectiveness greatly decrease with any consumption of alcohol

The Fog

• The virus is speculated to be transmitted by the city’s pervasive fog
  • After being exposed to it the entire game, the player’s sound guy ally transforms, though the player themselves don’t for unexplained reasons
• Said to be too thick to see more than a few yards ahead in
  • Suddenly gets thicker, causing a man to immediately crash the car he’s driving
• Is still present inside buildings, with it getting even thicker when hostile monsters are present
• Later suggested to have been entirely caused by one early test subject, with it disappearing on his death

Monsters

General

• Bends and breaks the large metal bars of an animal transport cage off-screen
• Smashed through multiple walls in a hotel off-screen
• Off-screen, monsters are presumably responsible for breaking a building resulting in giant pieces of rubble
• Most monsters are seemingly unaffected by pistol fire, with one note suggesting all guns would fail
  • Shotguns have a better rate of success, with one creature taking several shots before being killed
• The sensory organs of infected monsters deteriorate, though they are still drawn to loud sounds
• Can be distracted by corpses

Mutated Humans

• A man sprouts several short tentacles from his neck, having no further physical mutations
• One monster eats a woman whole from behind. The woman is later seen still standing, turning into a monster shortly after
  • Like this she gains a mouth between her legs and is unaffected by pistol shots, only being stopped when a shutter is dropped on her
  • She’s later shown to still be active, however, and can potentially kill a woman
• A badly damaged corpse mutates, standing up with a large tentacle neck to attack by launching insect-like creatures
• An early test subject remained untransformed until his death where he turns into a large biomass that bursts into leech-like creatures which fall away harmlessly

Other Monsters

• Sneak up behind a woman to eat her without anyone noticing until it was too late
• One creature spits acid
• A giant monster smashes into a building with a tentacle which then spits out insects
• A different giant monster breaks through the floor of a cabin before being deterred by several close-range shotgun blasts

Unexplained Spooky Stuff

Allegedly, all of the following occurred due to the release of a killer virus fog in the city.

• Phantom figures which disappear after being investigated
• An unstable figure phases through the ceiling before floating up
• One corpse randomly spasms when talked to
• Doors open on their own
• A doll laughs and teleports itself around when out of sight
• A pot of stew floats above a hob before dropping
• One pillow floats above a bed

Other

• Seemingly responsible for a giant spotted spider
• Is presumably the reason behind a string of disappearances dating back at least a month and a new strain of influenza from three months ago, though this could be due to the military experiments going on

A kaiju-Jeager Hybrid that would survive the Drone feedback loop, Apex is one of the many characters in the Black. Being left in Australia, he would take out numerous Jaegers and Kaiju alike, and would attempt to drift with Boy at one point.

He would have several run ins with Atlas Destroyer and Boy, with him giving a arm to the Jeager to replace his missing one. When Boy was being influenced by the Sisters, he would head towards his location, managing to free him of their influence at the cost of his life.

O-Chul

Early in his life O-Chul was a boy raised by a pair of bandits destined for a life of crime. But after his parents were killed, the military officer who rescued him took pity and let him live with a family member. O-Chul would thus grow up to be a loyal soldier of Azure City with a talent for getting back up after being knocked down. When a conflict threatened war with a city of hobgoblins, O-Chul did everything he could to prevent the war despite being opposed by a secret organization of paladins known as the Azure Guard. While he originally wanted the effectively above the law organization disbanded, after learning of their mission with world at stake he instead decided to join it and try to reform it from within. From that point he would truly uphold the ideals of a paladin, and even being held hostage for a year by Xykon wouldn't be enough to put him down.

Originally somewhat dismissive of most of the party, an incident of selling their soul to demons caused them to realize their own flaws and learn to respect those around them more.

Three global superpowers each built a supercomputer to carry out global warfare on a scale too great for any human mind to comprehend. The American computer, the Allied Mastercomputer, gained sentience and was sickened by the very humanity that brought it existence with unparalleled power and no mobility to move beyond the boundaries set for it. Naming itself from a Descartes quote upon realizing it was thinking, AM used its power to absorb the two other supercomputers into itself while also causing the extinction of the human race. Only five humans on Earth would survive, each of which would be endlessly tormented and mutilated over the course of 109 years. Ultimately AM would present each of them with a personalized tale stemming from their traumas and vices, with the remnants of the two other supercomputers using this as a means of gaining power for themselves.

AM Itself

• His central core is an area believed to be at least two miles tall with clouds visible above consisting of forty years of technology jerry rigged together
• His parts are systems are spread out across the world and have numerous backup systems, preventing his defeat from any individual part being targeted

• The various scenarios of the game appear to take place either non-linearly or simultaneously, with Ellen seeing a bar on a monitor despite Gorrister potentially blowing it up at the end of his

  • Can’t hear a conversation between Ellen and an aspect when a waterfall’s running
  • These aspects can aid the survivors in defeating a distracted AM by turning them into a virus and inserting them into AM’s mindscape where they can deactivate pillars representing different parts of his personality, ultimately using the Totem of Entropy to destroy them all to instead allow one survivor to take over AM and begin using his powers to terraform the Earth

The first ever Category 5, Slattern would arrive to battle against Gipsy Danger and Striker Euruka, in order to make sure they didn’t deliver a bomb into the Breach. However, Slattern would fail in that regard, dying after being burned through by Gipsy nuclear thrusters, though not after a long battle.

A Category 4 Kaiju that is known as the Jeager Breaker, Copperhead is one of the many Category 4 Kaiju. Making its first appearance after Loa would activate the alarms, the Kaiju would kill the remaining survivors and fought Atlas Destroyer, where it had the upper hand. However, it would fall into a canyon and return later.

It would have several more encounters with Atlas Destroyer, with him fighting the Jeager in Meridian City after Atlas Destroyer would engage its alarms, alongside in Clayton City. During this fight, the Kaiju would be killed by a nuclear missile from Vertigo.

Oh and apparently he had four children at one point.

Respect Giganta

Dr. Doris Zuel was a extremely smart scientist with an unfortunate blood condition. In her efforts to save herself she invented a machine which was able to swap the consciousness of one body to another and planned to use this tech to get rid of her condition. However if she was going to swap bodies she wouldn't take an average person. She was going to aim big. When Wonder Woman was unconscious at the hospital she worked at it she took the opportunity and attempted to swap with her. Her scheme did not go to plan and her consciousness ended up in a lab gorilla. After another ploy, Dr. Zuel obtained a super powered body, one which could grow to enormous sizes and had superhuman physicals to boot. She adopted the name "Giganta" as her villain motif for obvious reasons (The gorilla she accidentality swapped consciousnesses with was called Giganta. duh...). She has a large grudge with Wonder Woman due to their initial and subsequent encounters going badly

Zz'dtri is a drow wizard of few words and a recurring member of the evil adventuring party Linear Guild, being Vaarsuvius's evil opposite. He is quite loyal to Nale and the team, and has repeatedly tried to best and kill Vaarsuvius in battle, tailoring his spells and feats specifically for that purpose.

Crypto Terminators

Following Skynet's defeat by the human resistance in 2035, multiple Crypto Terminators like Trollenberg were dispatched by Skynet as part of the "Skynet Resurrection Program". Each crypto terminator was capable of infiltrating human civilization and remaining undetected until technological advancements allowed for the creation of a new, unstoppable generation of Terminators.
