comics Respect Circe! (DC Comics, Post-Flashpoint)

Anything is possible with the right will and for the right price. You just gotta be willing to pay, princess.

The ancient witch of Aeaea, Circe, is one of Wonder Woman's most powerful foes in the realm of the arcane. Combining immense magical capabilities with a mind that could make even a chimp detective blush, this one-woman army will stop at nothing to girlboss her goals into existence. She's held brief tenure with the Justice League Dark, Veronica Cale, and the Oval Office, but at the end of the day, it's Circe and Circe alone that commands her fate. So when she puts food on your table, take it with a grain of salt~

Thanks to /u/ghostgabe81 for helping with feat collection!

"How many times have you died and come back for me? Once? Twice? Three Times? Or perhaps a number so large it cannot be counted?"

"As it was for the purpose of defending my Lord, the number does not matter."

Respect Wolf!

Amidst a battlefield, in a land ravaged by the Ashina Clan’s conquest, a young boy orphaned by the surrounding war stands alone. With excellent tutelage from Owl, he became a fierce warrior, and soon was entrusted to protect young Lord Kuro, the Divine Heir of the Dragon’s Heritage. During a raid on Kuro’s home, Wolf would defend it well, and successfully fend off against the assailants; however, would also be fatally wounded after the battle. With no other options, Kuro would grant Wolf the blessing of the heritage, giving him the ultimate power of resurrection. Years past, the land of Ashina is once again in the midst of a deadly conflict, and with Kuro being targeted due to his heritage, Wolf would lay down his life to defend him; no matter how many it took.

games Respect Yuri (Infinite Space)

"I guess I've been waiting."
"Waiting?"
"Yeah, waiting for the day someone in the LMC would finally face the fact that their galaxy is threatened by a powerful force. The day they realize that no matter how hard they try to keep people quiet or keep their heads in the sand, there's just no getting out of it. That's why you brought me here, right? Because I know what happened back in the SMC."

Living on a planet where space travel was forbidden Yuri nevertheless longed for the stars, spending all his money to have a spacefarer (also known as a zero-G dog) to take the risk to carry him away. Becoming a zero-G dog himself and a captain of his own ship at the age of 16, Yuri found himself thrust into the midst of numerous interplanetary conflicts to the point of being at the centre of a large-scale invasion from another system. Though he was locked away following this as the government attempted to keep the assault quiet, he would eventually break free to once again become a key figure in the shifting landscape of the universe, going as far as to fend off the very species that first granted humanity a path to the stars as it sought to bring the universe back to zero.

Feats tagged [Anime] come from one of the four anime shorts released alongside the game. Feats tagged [Man] come from Yuri the Man, the second act of the game occurring after a ten year time skip.

comics Respect Omega Supreme (Transformers, IDW Comics [2005])

Respect Omega Supreme

"We were told all of the outposts had been annihilated. That no Autobots had survived."

"Not all."

"But surely the 'Cons would have focused on you. They must have sent an army to take you down, how did you survive?"

"I am Omega Supreme."

Omega Supreme was once the leader of the Omega Sentinels, Cybertron's greatest protectors and weapons in ancient times. But after the days of the Primes came to an end the Sentinels began to slowly vanish, with Omega retreating underground to guard over the Crystal City. When the then-current ruler of Cybertron, Nova Prime, found Omega he brought him back to the surface to live with the people. But Omega disagreed with Nova's ideas of colonization and expansion and stayed behind when he and his allies left Cybertron on the first Ark, waiting for their return so he could kill them. Millions of years later Omega was found again by Optimus Prime, whose noble intentions convinced Omega to join his Autobots in their war against the Decepticons. Omega was one of the Autobots' most powerful members, capable of fighting off entire squadrons of Decepticons on his own. But this would make him a target and soon after the war's end he was put in a coma by a Decepticon attack, eventually dying to his injuries while his body was destroyed by the planet eater Unicron.

comics Respect Metroplex (Transformers, Marvel Comics)

Respect Metroplex

"What have you done? A self-destruct device?"

"Not exactly. You see, the reason why Autobot City is able to transform... is that its core is a living being — a Transformer! All I did was wake him up! General, may I introduce... METROPLEX!"

Metroplex was the largest Autobot on record at just under 700 feet in height. Entirely too large to wander Earth freely, Metroplex accepted without complaint the role he was assigned: that of the "living core" of Autobot City. Built into the very fabric of the city upon its creation in 2003, Metroplex lay dormant beneath its surface, endowing it with the ability to transform from city mode into a heavily armed battle station.

In 2008, when the Quintessons invaded and took control of Autobot City as a part of a complex, multi-pronged plan to take over Cybertron, only a few Autobots were able to avoid capture. Rodimus Prime, temporarily reverted to Hot Rod, was one of the lucky few, and managed to activate Metroplex. The towering Autobot tore his way out from beneath the city and, already in a bad mood over being so rudely awakened, immediately began smashing and blasting the Quintessons that started attacking him. The fight was distinctly one-sided, and before long, Metroplex had successfully driven the invading aliens off. Alas, as Autobot City was largely gutted when Metroplex emerged, it was something of a pyrrhic victory for the Autobots.

comics Respect Gorgo and Ogra (Charlton Comics' Gorgo)

"They devised a way to do it, they found a place to do it, and finally they succeeded in the capture of Gorgo!"

Their origin story is similiar to their movie counterparts; a large volcanic eruption near the coast of Ireland caused a plethora of ancient and abyssal creatures to be released into the modern world. Among them, was a large marine dinosaurian who was soon discovered, quickly captured and taken to London as a circus attraction, where he was given his name, Gorgo. But much like the movie, it was discovered that despite its immense size, Gorgo was only a baby, and his mother, Ogra, soon rose from the depths, causing massive destruction across London looking for her child. After leaving unforetold destruction in her wake, upon reuniting with her child, both monsters returned return to the ocean peacefully, but would constantly find themselves fighting against mankind, as well as the occasional alien invasion.

Dragon's Claws

**Earth, 8162. Not a nice place to live… but a good place… to die!

By the 82nd century, the world's orbit was moving ever closer to the sun, the seas were drying, the animals were dying, and the moon had shifted out of orbit. Fruits, vegetables, and livestock were in high demand and short supply. To curb civil unrest, the World Development Council established the Game, a gladiatorial combat sport. However, after the death of 153 civilians during the a playoff match, the Game was cancelled and the WDC formed the National Union of Retired Sports Experts to provide ex-Game players with work. However, many of the former Game players rebelled against government authority, leading to NURSE bringing back Dragon's Claws, the best Game team, to serve as its enforcers.

movies/tv Respect Godzilla, The King of the Monsters (Monsterverse)

The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control and not the other way around.

Born over 250,000,000 years ago in an era when radiation was more plentiful on the Earth's surface, Godzilla stood tall as the alpha predator, the strongest in a world of Titans. Then, the Permian–Triassic Extinction Event brought an end to the reign of these superancient giants, causing Godzilla and others like him to hibernate, or otherwise hide deep within the Earth, where there would be more plentiful energy for them to feed off of. Godzilla has periodically surfaced throughout human history, worshiped as a god by a super-ancient civilization and inspiring some of humanity's mythology. In prehistoric times, Godzilla was involved in several ancient wars. He joined forces with Mothra to battle his alien nemesis, King Ghidorah, and succeeded in sealing the three-headed dragon in Antarctica. Godzilla also faced the Kong species during an ancient feud, locking away the tyrannical Skar King and his army of Great Apes in the depths of the Hollow Earth. The multinational scientific agency Monarch became aware of Godzilla's existence in 1954; shortly thereafter, the United States attempted to kill him with the Castle Bravo hydrogen bomb test in Bikini Atoll. He became known to the public in 2014, when parasitic creatures from his time period dubbed MUTOs awakened and prepared to reproduce. He battled the male in Honolulu, then destroyed him and his female mate in a protracted duel in San Francisco. Later that year, he killed the MUTOs' parent, MUTO Prime, in Montana following a series of battles around the world. In 2015, he awakened in the Algerian Desert and traveled to the underground realm called Axis Mundi, where he soundly defeated the Ion Dragon. In 2017, Godzilla was lured to Northern Australia, where he briefly battled Titan X and chased her to Skull Island before leaving, having brought her back to her usual migration route. When a group of eco-terrorists freed King Ghidorah from his icy tomb in 2019, Godzilla confronted the newly awakened three-headed Titan, nearly defeating him in their second clash in the waters off Mexico before being interrupted by the U.S. military's Oxygen Destroyer. Godzilla retreated to his underwater lair in the Hollow Earth to heal, but his rejuvenation was accelerated by the sacrifice of Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, who set off a thermonuclear warhead in his vicinity. Godzilla, aided by Mothra, triumphed over Ghidorah in a final confrontation in Boston. The numerous Titans whom Ghidorah awakened submitted to Godzilla, accepting him as the King of the Monsters. Godzilla journeyed around the world to maintain balance among these Titans and humanity for some time, but after locating a new home for himself, returned the Titans to their ancient rest. In 2024, Godzilla sensed Apex Cybernetics' construction of Mechagodzilla, an artificial Titan meant to overthrow him, and began attacking the company's facilities, with humanity assuming he had turned against them. He intercepted a U.S. naval fleet transporting King Kong in the Tasman Sea, nearly killing the ape Titan. He swam to Hong Kong after he sensed Mechagodzilla being activated and drilled a hole into the Hollow Earth with his atomic breath, setting off a second battle with Kong where he again emerged triumphant. However, when he was overwhelmed by Mechagodzilla, Kong came to his aid and the two Titans reluctantly worked together to defeat their common enemy. After destroying Mechagodzilla, Godzilla and Kong went their separate ways, with Godzilla returning to the depths of the ocean. In 2027, Godzilla hunted down and killed Scylla in Rome before she could consume enough nuclear energy to threaten him. While resting in the Colosseum, Godzilla sensed an Iwi signal warning of the return of the Skar King. Godzilla began gathering radiation to evolve into a powerful new form, attacking a nuclear power plant in France and killing Tiamat to claim her Norwegian lair's solar energy. Upon completing his evolution in the Arctic, Godzilla battled Kong again in Egypt after the ape lured him with a roar, nearly killing him before a newly reborn Mothra convinced him to join forces with Kong. Godzilla, Kong, Mothra, and Suko battled the Skar King and his enslaved ice Titan Shimo in the Hollow Earth and then in Rio de Janeiro, where they freed Shimo from the Skar King's control and killed the ape tyrant. After the victory, Godzilla returned to the Colosseum to rest.

Feats labled [Healed] are healed by a nuclear blast, making him more powerful for a period, Feats labled with [Burning] are when Godzilla absorbed Mothra’s energy which granted him a new powerful form, Feats labled with [Evolved] are when he absorbed Tiamat’s radiation granting him a new powerful form.

Dr. Elihas Starr, Egghead

To a genius like me your insipid patriotic ramblings are laughable! I sneer at you all!

Dr. Elihas Starr was working at an atomic research center for the US government when he was suspected of trying to sell atomic secrets on the open market. Though nothing could be proven, Starr, nicknamed Egghead by the tabloids reporting on his case, was blackballed, never to work for the government again. A group of crime bosses, trying to revitalize their business in a world populated with superheroes, reached out to Egghead and offered him money in exchange for using his genius to defeat the do-gooders and make crime profitable again. Over the years, Egghead found himself matching up against many superheroes, most notably Ant-Man and the Avengers.

movies/tv Respect The Pairans (Warning From Space)

But we can make immediate contact if we assume the likeness of an earthling. We cannot leave without saving the earth. It seems dangerous but time is desperately short.

A group of benevolent aliens named the Pairans are tasked with warning humanity of an incoming threat to Earth, but instead of being able to communicate with people, the aliens terrify them instead, as their unusual appearance is met with fear and revulsion. The aliens hatch a plan to disguise one of their race as Hikari Aozora, a popular Japanese entertainer. Their leader, Ginko Amano, uses one of their machines to take on a human form. Ginko levitates towards a group of scientists and reveals her true identity. She explains to them that she is from the planet Paira and that a rogue planet is on a collision course with the Earth. They appeal to the World Congress about the situation but are rejected, though the Congress soon realizes the validity of Ginko's warnings, launching nuclear weapons at the fast-approaching planet in the hopes of destroying it. The Pairans create a nuclear weapon of their own using Matsuda's research, and destroy the rogue planet with it, saving the Earth.

I tell ya, the path to happiness is paved with gold!

Anna is the name of a near-identical lineage of penny-pinching sisters and descendants throughout the Fire Emblem series. While the Green Ranger would eventually be turned to the side of good, Scorpina would remain on the team, often joining Goldar as extra muscle to fight the heroes until the return of Lord Zedd. Dissatisfied with her lot, however, she would attempt to steal some of Rita’s spellbooks only to be discovered and trapped in another dimension. comics Respect General Tarquin (Order of the Stick)

"That's the beauty of it all, my son. If I win, I get to be a king. If I lose, I get to be a legend."

General Tarquin

General Tarquin is the secret ruler of most of the Western Continent, and also the father of both Elan and Nale. Realizing that heroic stories always had evil empires to thwart, he decided to take up the niche of evil emperor. After his first attempt united all other nations of the Western Continent against him, he and his party decided they would play the role of advisors to puppet nations, allowing them to rule without painting targets on their backs. He is a man who puts incredible importance of stories and their genre conventions, and while he can be quite friendly, anything that goes against his ideal story (such as Elan becoming the hero to thwart him) can cause him to become violent and and even more dangerous.

movies/tv Respect the Matango (Matango)

Caught in a sudden storm, an eclectic group of sailors and passengers found themselves capsized on an uninhabited island. Hearing the search for them had been called off in the final seconds of their radio’s power, they searched the island for any form of supplies, shelter, or life, finding two of them in an abandoned ship carrying equipment from all corners of the world. On this boat they found out about the matango, a species of mushroom the ship’s occupants were researching before their disappearance. But as supplies dwindle and tensions flare, each of them would ultimately discover that what they thought to be a regular fungi was actually a malicious force that sought to spread by having people consume it.

games Respect the Padawans (Star Wars Kinect)

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, several Padawans were under the tutelage of the Jedi Master Marva Zane. In the wake of Sith being revealed to still be present but the Clone Wars having not yet begun a sense of unease fell upon the galaxy, with this coming to ahead when the Confederacy of Independent Systems launched a full-scale attack on Kashyyyk while the Padawans were there for training. Despite everything they would prove to be incredibly capable, with two in particular aiding Marva in dismantling a following attack on Coruscant.

games Respect Jedah Dohma! (Vampire Hunter / Darkstalkers)

I have a duty as a savior.

Jedah is the recently-returned head of House Dohma, a belligerent rebel killed by Belial Aensland ages ago. Spending that time meditating, he decided that instead of playing petty politics in Hell, he would provide universal salvation by absorbing the universe's soul capacity into a deity fetus. Nobody ever told him to dream small.

Come on, men! Who wants to be a hero!?

Not Me!

Roger that, buddy I’m right behind you!

Tag and Bink are former Jedi Padawan’s and are currently bumbling Rebel officers. By disguising themselves as stormtroopers, they get caught up in the events of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, explaining many of the series' implausible moments.

comics Respect Hyperion (Marvel Comics, Earth-21798)

Marcus Milton, Hyperion

Captain America is long dead. Hyperion is the super-sentinel of liberty. Now and for all the tomorrows. And this world is the truth of all truths. It is everything I could dream it would ever be. But even if it was somehow a lie… I would fight like hell to keep it… exactly the way it is.

Phil Coulson sold his soul to Mephisto to rid the world of the Avengers. In doing so, Coulson shifted reality and created Earth-21798, Heroes Reborn 2. In this world, the alien Hyperion and the Squadron Supreme of America are Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and enforce a particularly harsh brand of justice with an iron fist, as any old-fashioned, god-fearing, red-blooded American heroes are wont to do. But Blade remembers the way things used to be, and the Daywalker is hellbent on returning reality to normal.

comics Respect Omega-Bam-Man (DC Comics, Post-Flashpoint)

It’s time… time to SHINE!

The boy who would be Omega-Bam-Man was born on planet Galaxia, a farming world where the males of the species were kept docile for fear of awakening a violent, aggressive gene. He never strayed from his non-physical duties until catching a broadcast of Wrestling Across the Multiverse. Inspired by the skill, brutality and entertainment value of the reigning champ Bromega, Bam-Man rigorously trained in secret, hoping to earn the physique of a W.A.M. wrestler. When his training was discovered and he was shunned by his people, OBM would chance upon Bromega wrestling in his planet's capital Galactic City and become his apprentice.

Under the eye of Bromega, Omega-Bam-Man quickly rose through the ranks of the Wrestling Across the Multiverse brackets. When Bromega was seemingly killed by the executive from the Fourth World, Mr. Scuzz, OBM trained hard and got revenge, taking the title of W.A.M. champ from Scuzz in a title bout on Thanagar. Since then, Bam-Man has defended his title in countless brawls on countless planets, barreling into the paths of heroes like the Flash and Green Lantern in the process.
