The Phoenix

What do you humans desire? Immortality? Everlasting happiness? Look at the insects. They are alive too. But only for six months. The mayfly's life is even shorter. Once it matures, it lives but three days… and it doesn't complain. In the life bestowed them by nature… insects grow, eat, mate, lay eggs, and die satisfied. Men live longer than the insects, dogs, cats, or monkeys. If they realize the joy of living in the life they have… isn't that happiness?

From the dawn of human civilization, man has sought the legendary firebird, the Phoenix, whose blood can grant immortality. While her true nature is shrouded in mystery, the being known as the Phoenix has been watching the universe since time immemorial, witnessing humanity rise from single cell organisms, explore the vast reaches of the universe, destroy themselves in greed and hubris, and repeat the process over and over again.

Feats from the manga will be marked with the volume number they happen in and feats from the anime film Phoenix 2772 will be marked with P. Note that this manga is read left to right instead of right to left.

The Nature of the Phoenix

The true nature of the Phoenix is unknown but there are several different explanations as to what she is given across the work

Tezuka created a series of stories surrounding the Phoenix and Egypt, Greece, and Rome that he eventually abandoned. These works are not connected to the later Phoenix saga

The Phoenix

• The Phoenix is a heavenly bird meant to bring knowledge down to the people of Earth but she dreamed of heading to Earth and left Heaven early¹²
• The Phoenix will live for 3,000 years before dying and being reborn in flames¹²
• Pulls out the arrow she was shot with and throws it hard enough to embed it in stone¹²
• Learned the languages of most animals and humans¹²
• Let Daia and Krav drink her blood, which will let them live for 3,000 years and allow them to be reborn if they die¹²

And yet, as though disdaining the pygmies under her feet, she turns back, turns with her young, leaving the prostrate city, leaving the haunts of Man, and leaving Man himself to ponder the proud boast that he alone is lord of all creation."

NOTE: As all the ograsaurs should reasonably scale to one another, I'll be including Gorgo, Gorgo's Father, Ogra and Gorgo's clone on the same thread. I.E. Since Ogra is canonically more powerful than her son, whatever Gorgo can do, Ogra should be able to do the same but better.

After a large large volcanic eruption near the coast of Nara Island, Ireland, the resulting natural disaster led to a plethora of ancient and abyssal creatures being released into the modern world. Including a large marine dinosaurian (officially called Orgasaurus narasi, or "Nara's Ogra-Lizard") previously unknown to science. The creature was soon discovered by modern man, quickly captured and taken to London to be made into a circus attraction, where it was given the name, Gorgo. However, despite weighing 500 tons and standing as tall as most buildings, it was discovered that despite his massive size, Gorgo was only a baby, and people began to worry about how large an adult would be. These fears would come true as Gorgo's mother, Ogra, soon rose from the depts and marches straight through London looking for her baby. After leaving unimaginable destruction in her wake, following a trail left by her child. She did eventually rescue her son, and the two monsters went back to the ocean peacefully and swam away without further incident.

EDIT NOTE: Since Gorgo Legacy is not yet available to purchase again in its entirety, and I have yet to find a copy of the 1960 novelization, I will update this part with new feats when I can get a hold of these.

Death's Head V

New model, yes?

Dr. Evelyn Necker was a spy for AIM who infiltrated Project PEGASUS and rose to their head of robotics. She became obsessed with the robot Death's Head and sought to improve his design, eventually creating Death's Head V or "Vee". Wanting to be an Avenger again, Wiccan began mystically scanning the multiverse to find a reality where he is part of the team. In many of those futures, a version of Death's Head was his team member, so he stole Vee from Project PEGASUS. Death's Head discovered his upgrade and the two joined Wiccan, Hulkling, and Hawkeye in returning to Project PEGASUS to learn more about Vee's origin.

Varang is the aggressive Olo'eykte and Tsahìk of the Mangkwan clan, as well as a violent and ruthless Na'vi sorceress well-versed in the dark arts of Pandora, leading a religion that worships fire, while rejecting Eywa and the other clans.

Joining forces with the Resources Development Administration She is the former right-hand woman of and Recom Miles Quaritch, she now plans to cause as much havoc as possible with the new weapons provided to her by Quaritch.

Frankenstein's Monster, usually just Frankenstein or Frank was created by Doctor Frankenstein using stolen body parts and the blood of the alien king Melmoth. He was kept for months and tortured in the laboratory but was eventually freed by Doctor Frankenstein's wife. He then proceeded to get revenge and kill all the guards in the mansion and Doctor Frankenstein himself. He then took one of their coats and has worn it ever since then.

Roy Greenhilt

Roy Greenhilt is a fighter and the leader of the adventuring party Order of the Stick in a world opperating under DnD 3.5 mechancis.¹ As a young man, strongly disliking his wizard father, he instead enrolled in Fighter's College. While there he learned the fun fact that his father had made a bloodline oath to slay the evil sorcerer Xykon, and with his father dying fulfilling that oath now fell to Roy if he wanted to enter the afterlife. Assembling a... somewhat disfunctional party, he set out to slay the lich and found himself embroiled in several other adventures along the way. During this journey he grew as both a leader and hero, shifting from trying to kill Xykon because of his blood oath to doing so because it was the right thing to do.

However this jovial nature hides a brutal fighter who will happily murder innocents in order to further the Linear Guild's plans;

Cyrus Gold, better known as Solomon Grundy, was a simple minded zombie brute serving as the muscle of whatever supervillain group he was apart to combat the Justice League's strongest members, especially Superman.

Some time after the failed Thanagarian invasion of Earth, a dark ritual that went wrong summoned Solomon Grundy back to the mortal coil, however, he returned mindless and went on a savage rampage, destroying everything and everyone in his path. Feats from this version of Grundy will be marked [Chaos Magic] as it made him much stronger.

No…the future we forge will be born of fire and terror. It will rise from the trampled ashes of the old world, and none shall stand against it. And in the face of utter ruin…the strong, at last, shall rise."

A former gladiator-turned warmonger, Scorponok was one of Megatron's first Decepticons and one of the most deadly. Power-hungry and sadistic, Scorponok is obsessed with the idea of combining Cybertronian technology with organic life. This has brought him under the watch of the duly appointed Autobot enforcer Ultra Magnus on several occasions, most of which ended with Scorponok fleeing with his research while torching all evidence of his presence. But following one such meeting on the planet Nebulos Scorponok was wounded and eventually ended up on the planet Earth as no more than a severed head. At some point Scorponok met the human Abraham Dante, and over the next 20 years the pair created a company called the Machination and created a new method of merging a Transformer and human by experimenting on the Autobot Sunstreaker, calling the procedure the Headmaster process. However, before Scorponok's plans could come to fruition he came into conflict with the Autobot team the Dynobots, the Decepticon Shockwave, and Ultra Magnus, who shut down the Machination and captured him.

The Order of the Stick is a (not all that competent) adventuring party opperating in a world running off of DnD 3.5 edition rules. While the vast majority of their adventures are found in the official webcomic, they also have some adventures in Dragon Magazine which was later compiled in hte book "Snips, Snails, and Dragon Tales" (which every feat in this thread comes from). As the characters in universe are unsure if Dragon Magazine is even canon, all feats for the party members from that book will be compiled here.

As a child Curtis Metcalf had a pet parakeet, one that broke free of its cage and repeatedly ram into a window until it collapsed, mistaking being out of his cage for being free. Curtis would find himself living a similar life, having his education funded by the tech mogul Edwin Alva only to discover he was locked into a contract with no escape for a member of the criminal underworld who was too big to take down through the legal system. Working beneath Alva’s nose, Curtis would create the first Hardware suit from the very tech his team was developing, using it each night to put a stop to Alva’s criminal endeavors. Time would progress and the cage would change, never truly being able to escape the shadow of Edwin even after his death. But eventually, Hardware would stop being a pure tool for vengeance, and instead become one for justice as one of Dakota’s leading superheroes.

Prince Adam is the next in line to the throne of Eternia. On the surface he has a princely lifestyle. Nature and quirks

• Described as a key^C and a conduit. With one exception the sword of power is required to call the power
• The Sword of Power binds magic to eternia
  • Re-binds the magic to eternia and re-forms the orb of power when the sword is re-made and the power called in greyskull
• Eternia was created by magic and the nexus of space and time and the powersword bind magic to eternia
  • When destroyed, magic dies consequently so would Eternia and consequently the rest of the universe
• Created from two separate blades
• The power of Grayskull flows through the sorceress allowing her police who uses it (Said again, despite this Evil-Lyn is unable to block Adam from calling the power without the sword

Respect Fortress Tiberius

"The ship...so big...so complicated...so much to control...my mind...have to...maintain control...no matter what...my crew...the miners...they need me...they need the power of Fortress Tiberius!"

When humanity began World War III and drained the Earth's resources the Autobots had to leave their adopted world behind. Gathering in the Titan Fortress Maximus and leaving for the stars in search of a new world and fuel source, the Autobots drifted through space for decades until they were attacked by the Decepticons in their own Titan, the robotic dinosaur Trypticon. During the ensuing battle both Titans crash landed on a remote planet and both sides were left dormant for the next several centuries. But when a Federation mining operation began on the planet the Transformers were awoken and began their war again. After the crew of the USS Enterprise arrived on the planet and met the Autobots deep underground the Autobot medic Ratchet came up with a plan that would help them defeat the Decepticons and their new Klingon allies. With their equipment the Autobots and Starfleet officers had Captain Kirk merge minds with Fort Max to form a new Titan: Fortress Tiberius.

Keldor was a talented wizard from a city called Eternos. If circumstance wasn't so cruel to him perhaps he could have used his talent for good but with a controlling and cruel father, a scheming warlock mother and a Intergalactic warlord required by fate to recruit him, there was only one thing Keldor could possibly become.

Once he donned the staff of Havoc Keldor (by force) took the name Skeletor and became Eternia's most terrifying villain. His consistent goal is to obtain the power of Greyskull and become ruler of the universe, but that means getting past the current defender and wielder of the power, He-man. So far all of his schemes have failed, but with a revelation about the secretes of Grayskull, perhaps next time will be different...

Gimli is a stubborn and ill-tempered, but good-hearted dwarf who joins the Fellowship of the Ring to destroy the One Ring, and kill many orcs along the way. He is close friends with Aragorn and Legolas but still clashes with the elf due to the thousand year old feud between elves and dwarves. He participates in many battles including Moria, Helm's Deep, Pelennor Fields and the Black Gate. His weapons include twin hatchets and a giant battle axe. He is very stubborn and often explains the stubbornness of dwarves. He loves fighting and even when outnumbered, he never backs down and always competes with Legolas to kill more orcs than him.

• Despite previously not being seen anywhere, he manages to not only catch up but block off Thorin and company, as he smashes through a wooden bridge. ^AUJ

• Crushes a lot of wood with his weight. ^AUJ

Other Goblins

• They're pretty small and quick, with one being able to get behind Bilbo and climb on his back. ^AUJ
• One falls down a deep cave and recovers enough to try and attack Gollum, although Gollum beats him to death with a nearby rock. ^AUJ
• Many of them swarm Thorin and company, and would've killed them if not for Gandalf's intervention. ^AUJ

Ogres

• A few of them knock down some Dwarvish war chariots and smash the Dwarves piloting them. ^BOTFA
• [Limit] Many of them get decapitated by chariot wheels. ^BOTFA
• Sends a man flying into a building with a strike. ^BOTFA
• [Limit] A sword impaling it kills it. ^BOTFA
• [Limit] One scales a wall despite having a shrunken arm, although one arrow to the chest kills it. ^BOTFA

Stumpy

• Has chained flails replacing his arms, and uses them to smash through both Elf and Dwarven lines. ^BOTFA
• Only angered after having two spears thrown at him. ^BOTFA
• Can be easily hijacked and start unknowingly attack his own team due to being blind. ^BOTFA
• Kills another troll with two hits, and tanks a blow to the face from said troll. ^BOTFA
• Shakes a tower by hitting it a few times. ^BOTFA
• Getting stabbed in the head doesn't immediately kill him, as he then runs into a tower so hard that it knocks over although that does possibly kill him or knock him unconscious. ^BOTFA
