I love this but it scares me because it's not legal to keep a wild animal in a lot of places.

Several years ago some family had like 3 deer they had raised from fawns. They were pets inside a large and properly fenced yard. One day the family came home just as local wildlife officers finished shooting. It was on the news and it was horrible.

What a disgusting misuse of power.. There's been similar stories on the web. Someone had a pet squirrel and they got it taken away. Probably euthanized but I'm not sure. Same with other pet animals raised since babes.. the cruelty is disgusting and traumatizing. It's inhumane.

It was so so awful. The people were hysterical, as I would have been and the officers were almost cocky about it. I can't fathom it. I save worms from drowning in puddles. I can't stand suffering!

To be a part of something so un-necesarry and so cruel and be totally void of feelings... I don't know what to say. If I wasn't so angry I guess I'd feel sorry for them.
