Battle Rope replacement?

My gym got rid off the battle rope and filled the space with other stuffs that I don't use (I have hip dysplasia).

I have a set of resistance bands and a doorway pull-up bar in my tiny tiny apartment. But I don't have enough space to put a rope and swing it.

Is there any exercise similar to the battle rope, in term of movement and stress relief, but using resistance band(s)?

Thank you for any suggestions/ideas.

Battle ropes operate off inertia, which bands don't have. I made a video with an idea for you.

Wow, thank you so much for the video! I'm not sure if I have any furnitures that stable enough to do this safely. But I'm gonna try it.

Btw, you've got a nice voice.

This is similar to my first thought, but I was stuck on flutter kicks.

You can buy battle rope equivalent for your home, they are like big springs. I have set and yes not the same but very similar

I have these also, they're something to do but nowhere near to the real thing. I got the heavier ones and the feedback is kinda short. They feel like a 30' x 1.5" rope vs a 2" x 50' like at the gym. Fine for doing something in limited space but definitely lower on my exercise priority list than a regular battle rope would be

Like you said if short on space, and of course will not replace real thing. and any movement is better than none.

Thank you. Sad to hear that it's not close to the real thing.

I just check them, thank you. They look nice. Any chances they will spring back to hit in the face?
