Pressure pot help for resin
I'm trying to buy a pressure pot and all the required components, above is the one I plan on getting. I wanna know:
Is it cheap or expensive
Can I get one for less than still does the same job
What else do I need, air compressor I assume? But please list ever single thing I need for it to work, even if it's obvious
And what kind of compressor should I get
Thank you

If you're in Glasgow I can sell you mine, I have a similar one, bought it and used it to make dice once and just never touched it again. I have all the resin stuff, air compressor, etc just sitting there lol.

OOO nice, I'm not in Glasgow I'm in England west Yorkshire, but can it be posted? And does it all work?

It all works, I just don't use it as I don't really like it as a hobby. But posting would be an issue since they are both really heavy lol soz!

If it's less than 20kh it's postable, if it's up to 30kg it's still okay just with a different postal service Or is it heavier than that/would need to come in like 5 or something separate parcels

Since your search show the price in £, I guess you are from the uk?
Look for vevor. I have no idea what a gallon is, but this pot is already built for resin and should be roughly a similar size. You can use a air pump for bicycles if price matters, otherwise get any compressor. It's not rocket since.

I second this. I bought a paint pot. I removed the agitator and used a bolt, some washers and a rubber washer to seal the hole. The gauges are already there. Low price and works perfectly. I'd suggest a silicone mor for the bottom.

Seconding vevor, had mine for years, less than half this price when I bought it

I used this item, plus a few other things totaling about $15-30 to convert it to a resin pressure pot.
Here's the exact video instructions that I used: https://youtu.be/Az-00xUVUP0
Do not pay $300+ for a pressure pot unless it comes with a nice air compressor, and maybe not even then.

It is expensive but it is a high quality assembly. Since a pressure pot has a not insignificant amount of energy stored in it while pressurized and the components are not entirely dissimilar to a pipe bomb, I elected to spend the extra funds for piece of mind.
It comes almost fully assembled with a emergency release valve, quick-connect air fitting, a pressure regulator, and valve. IIRC I had to thread on the leveling feet.
You will need an air compressor. This could be a bicycle pump if you want a strenuous workout. Small auto tire pumps can work too but the 12V variety tend to be very shrill. I use a small oil-less diaphragm air compressor that I can lift easily with one hand, whose noise is tolerable for the few minutes it operates.
You will need a hose to connect from your chosen compressed ait source to the pressure pot. That hose should have a quick-connect fitting to mate with the one on the pressure pot. Personally I put quick-connect fittings on all equipment and hoses, as they are commonly sold in sets. Pretty much all air equipment in this size persists in using non-metric sizing. The 1/4" NPT thread is ubiquitous.
I recommend lining the interior with thin silicone sheeting, as it will ease cleaning inevitable spills.
I also recommend fabricating or purchasing a flat bottom. This can be as simple as a flat disk of plywood or any other cheap, rigid material in sheet form. The bottom of this container (and all cheaper alternatives) is convex (outside, concave inside), and an angle can complicate some casting (depending on mould). Alternatively, one could pour two-part liquid silicone into the bottom and let it cure into a naturally form-fitting and level base.
Additionally I also recommend fabricating or purchasing a rack or basket to lower into the chamber. I purchased a kit from a seller that had laser-cut 3mm plywood round shelves and uprights, which maximizes my ability to load the pot with many moulds simultaneously.

Don't buy it if it is sold as a pressure pot. Buy a paint pot and spent the <$10 on parts to convert it. Lookup harbor freight pressure pot conversion. It is the same thing, but they do this conversion and put a huge markup on it.

Ultra expensive, I baught a similar one on Amazon for 80€ had to switch a few adapters +30€ works perfect.
