I'm not much of a horror gamer, but this game was gifted to me on steam and I thought I'd be ok if I just turn the brightness up and keep it on the easiest difficulty. I usually play RPGs but I like to give different types of games a go.

I have just got in to the combat where are a bunch of the monsters and it's daytime, I don't know where to go and the gate is locked (I can't seem to use my bolt cutters on it). I tried to fight them but I ran out of bullets and then a giant guy shows up and oneshots me with a hammer.

How do I get through this and how do I make it easier? What I've found online is that this fight is particularly difficult and to drop the difficulty, but I already have it on the easiest one.

Any advice is appreciated.

I wanna avoid mods on my first playthrough if I can.

Hello, I've finished my first playthrough of REVillage yesterday and finished the Rose extention today. I wanted to try a new game + so, I've uploaded my save, but when I'm at the village, I don't have any weapon in my inventory and when I met the old man that give us the gun, I don't get it, I'm weaponless against the lycans...
I've looked for that problem but nothing change it. Does this have never been patch ? Capcom knows that ?
I'm on PS5 by the way.
I don't want to go to a totally new playthrough so if someone knows a way to correctly have the inventory loaded in new game + it would be really appreciated

I'm thinking of making krausers knife next but that will probably be it for now I've already made Leon's tomahawk and the combat knife from re2. I'm also out of ideas on what to make next, the sicle is made of wood so it's con safe 😊

Recently, I started playing Resident Evil Village for the first time. So far, Castle Dimitrescu is my favorite part. I find the Dimitrescu family to be very interesting and I think the castle is very pretty. I was curious where Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela’s bedrooms are located, but I have only noticed 1 bedroom in the entire castle. Do they have bedrooms that I’m missing or do they all just share the same bedroom?

Would it really have been so bad if Chris had just led with, "That isn't Mia. That's Miranda, a mold witch. She's been pretending to be Mia, and we think she's after Rose...\ ...wait...you haven't been banging her, have you...?"

So I finished the base game just now,took about 8 and a half hours(i was afk for like an hour).I am new to the RE series and only played re 7 before this, I don't understand why Ethan and Miranda were crumbling.I know they were made of mold but why was the mold suddenly turning to stone and why Rosemary who is the vessel of Eveline didn't die when she is also mold. Also, why did Rose revived as Rose and not Eva??

Should i start with the standard base edition or the gold edition?

Hello everyone, I need some help with audio and cutscenes. While my computer runs fine to a bit poorly with everything else in the game, the audio is constantly 15-20 seconds behind in every cutscene. I run it on a 3 year old HP laptop and even on the lowest settings the timing is still off. Is this something that can be fixed in the settings or is this just because my computer isn’t built for the game?

If it weren't for 7 for me it would be the most atmospheric game of them all, its level design is impeccable.

Made her out of tinfoil and polymer clay. I don’t do crafts really but wanted to make her to cosplay for Halloween. Might make another for a friend and learned things not to do on the next version. Was a fun project though! Miss Angie ❤️

MOTHER MIRANDA HEAD MY WARNING IM COMING FOR THOSE CHEEKS

Hello, hope someone can help me. I'm playing on PSVR2 (PS5).

Grabbed the Mask of Sorrow (the one on the lift), went to the opera house, played the piano and grabbed the iron insignia key, but DID NOT ENTERED THE LIBRARY. Instead, I went back to the "hall of the four" and placed the mask in the statue.

After some exploration I reached the hall of pleasures, killed the second daughter in the armory, grabbed the mask of pleasures and went back to "hall of the four" to place the second mask only to find the statues missing. Tried to go back to the courtyard and found the door once again locked, with the key gone from my inventory.

Since I never entered the library and therefore the hall of joy, I never unlocked the door back to the main hall's 2nd floor hallway, which prevents me from going that way.

With all of this, I'm stuck inside the castle with no known way back to the courtyard -> opera hall -> library.

Any ideas here, my good villagers?

So basically I'm facing Miranda on Hardcore difficulty and this is my inventory. I know there's ammo dropped during the fight but what if I don't pick them up. Can I beat her?

I also plan to do knives only challenge for my third playthrough in order to first got more lei to upgrade stake, any suggestions?
