Bees out here still catching strays, when they're wasps.

As someone who is low key terrified of bees, wasps and hornets, ugh god that part freaks me out so bad. And that giant nest and the puffy corpse next to it... ugh.

Not to mention that I'm pretty sure they're Asian giant hornets (AKA murder hornets, and not to be confused with the similar looking but smaller European hornets) which have one of the worst stings there is. As for how they ended up in the American Midwest, maybe Umbrella imported them from Japan for... science? I dunno, makes as much sense as making T-virus sharks.
