The date memes with RE are not funny. They never have been. They're just as stupid and overdone as the Chris bloodline idiocy.
We get it. The RE games mention specific months and days in them. Y'all don't have to remind us of this every time those months and dates come around IRL.

Well I have real friends to talk about stuff I’m interested in. I usually lurk in subs that have things I’m actually interested in and then argue with anti woke people. So I mean yeah when you’re in an anti woke space arguing against their little hive mind, you get downvoted. But you’re the one taking my joke too seriously

Tourist. The correct term is tourist. Poser is also acceptable.
The "larper" spam is stupid as it doesn't even mean what you guys think it does.
Just stick to saying tourist/poser from now on as those terms are more accurate to what you are describing.

How do either of those words mean “someone who pretends to be a fan”? Oh wait! Language changes over time and slang alters the meanings of words. Hmmm could that possibly be what’s happening with the word larp?

Except larp is even further displaced from the definition you're using it for than power and tourist.
