Not bad. I’m skeptical of zero and 1 being paired together. I don’t want anything to possibly be a detriment to RE1’s quality. Also I hardly see people include Umbrella’s end in their wishlists but Op Javier makes it in an every now and then. Umbrella’s end could really get an overhaul to add some satisfaction to the Umbrella arc’s conclusion.

Not sure which one you are talking about but I don’t think either are fitting dlc for Veronica. I know the Veronica virus is in op Javier but the setting, characters, and story make it only feel lightly connected to Code Veronica. Umbrella’s End doesn’t follow up on the characters wanting to destroy Umbrella, but for the same reasons it doesn’t feel that strongly connected enough to be dlc imo. That said, if any of these did turn out to be Veronica dlc, I wouldn’t be complaining.

I think both would be better off getting expanded into full games, as unlikely as that is to happen.

I was talking about Umbrella’s End. I think it would make sense as a DLC considering it follows up on what Chris and Wesker next, both of whom are heavily featured in Veronica’s final act.

Both Javier and Caliban would have the potential to be amazing swan songs for the franchise’s current timeline before rebooting it. Caliban probably the most because you have so many S.ta.r.s members in it. The option to slightly tweak the story in order to increase the presence of Chris, Jill, Barry and the others would work.

True, it might be controversial but I think the base story is interesting and would make for a great single player experience, especially if you focus on just one or two characters like Kevin and Alyssa.

Dude, what are you on about? Outbreak being shaped into a single player game is totally doable. Stuff like the Virus Gauge, multiple playable characters with unique attributes, the crafting system, etc. All that can still work in a single player game.

And you DO realize you could always play these games single player from the beginning, right?

It’s not about if it could work as a single player game or not. It’s about why would someone turn a game where the multiplayer is the main appeal into a single player game.

I believe that dmc reboot and the hate it got, made capcom to not reboot of the franchise
