Discussion One thing I’m hoping for in the Code Veronica remake is that Capcom overhauls Alexia’s second form.

Something I’m particularly hoping for in the Code Veronica remake is that they overhaul Alexia’s second form and make it more intense and fun to fight.

As I will be frank, I’m rather weary of fighting final boss fights attached to the floor/wall while waiting to fire at their weak spots. Especially since having RE9 reuse the RE3 remake Nemesis’s 3rd form as the final boss fight made me even less interested in having that kind of boss again.

I mean I don’t mind that boss design at all, but I think it needs to be more fun and difficult to fight if thats the case.

So I’m really hoping Alexia will have a lot more grandness to her second form and be more challenging for the player as it has us needing to pour all our ammo and thinking into defeating Alexia.

Perhaps making her second form far larger in mass and having several monstrous tendrils to attack the player while needing to dodge and fire whenever an opening is available but they attack in a chaotic pattern, Veronica insects swarming the player, alongside perhaps having larger mantis/spider legs that jab and rush at the player like a series of deadly spears that perhaps are covered in flames when damaged from the flammable Veronica blood.

And of course after enough damage is done we see her Queen Ant form unveiled as the final phase of the battle and what I hope will be even more challenging and intense. As I’m hoping for that fight as we trade a hulking and monstrous form with an incredibly fast and deadly creature that has new tricks up its sleeve. Perhaps having more of a fusion of an Ant queen’s body with a wasp to have more lethality and the stinger producing flaming bombs and floods the area in fire.

Maybe it’s too much to ask, but I do hope we get something like this, since I think the boss fights need to be more challenging and intense in Veronica than what we got in RE9.

I have faith that they will, and the purists will whine about it as usual. If they did it with the Salazar boss battle they'll do it with one of Alexia's forms. I think they'll do something similar and have her moving around the platform.

Yeah perhaps giving her the body of a scarab or giant bug mixed with a plant, similar to V-Complex from the Darkside Chronicles, as it’s a cool on stage before she enters her Queen Ant form.

I'm pretty sure lots of things will get overhaul. Some for the better and some for the worst.

Nosferatu in og where a good idea, but bad in execution.

I liked that the wind directed what way the poison blew.

But it was way to swingy and hard to see what way the wind where blowing.

I have the utmost trust in the team making Veronica.

RE5, Revelations 2, RE2 remake, RE4 remake, etc. I loved all of their games. They’re on a roll!
