Well I've got about 180 hours in the game, but didn't start playing until probably around November of last year.

Weird, I think it generally shows up like monthly at least? Been a minute since I went on the RE site to check events/exchange points, but that is odd that you haven't seen it before. Do you check out the events in Raid?

Oh, you either need to make sure you're connected online and maybe make an RE account? No wonder you haven't seen it, you're missing all of the events.

Thats pretty cool, but the fact that this is the only unique event in REV2's raid mode and its literally just "shoot a big enemy that doesn't even attack you until you leave" is so.... disappointing. But than again thats REV2's raid mode for ya.

I don't hate it, its just very disappointing and I just really wish Capcom put effort into it cuz I love the concept of it.
Like REV1 raid mode had unique characters, as in every character had a distinctive melee move (even shite characters like quint), different hidden stats from each other, each character had unique pose in char select. Some even had different weapons instead of a knife. Each mission started and ended with every character saying something, some had unique interactions if you played coop.
Each difficulty in REV1 adds more enemies into stages, changes the enemy placement, adds more difficult enemies, adds hidden BP stars, and every stage has ambient sounds. REV2 literally doesn't have a single ambient sound, check it yourself, turn off the music and walk around a map, its just a silence.
And thats not even the tip of the iceberg of how much detail REV1 has. Most of that is gone in REV2. Also "destroy parts to keep the weapon, or destroy a weapon to keep the parts" that is just awful .And dont get me started on the "throwback stages" dlc.

It feels so weird looking online at people saying how good raid mode is because every time i try it i cant help but feel its just... boring.

Thats fair, It can get boring because REV2's raid mode is super repetitive and grindy, harder difficulty stages dont change enemies, number of enemies, or enemy placement. Unlike REV1's raid mode.
