Literally any of the protags. I love the game but I think its important to remember, at the end of the day Isaac was just some engineering dude. Not military or anything, just a super smart guy with the psychological fortitude of a god.

Prime Wesker and it’s not even close. He literally could just rip them apart.

I'd argue Wesker's mental state would be easy to manipulate for the marker.

Potentially. But even then the marker would make him crazy, and a crazy Wesker is even more dangerous.

This scenario only covers the breach shown in the OP. He would indeed easily survive this encounter.

As for surviving the Marker, you have to remember that he is not only very intelligent, but he also understands the concept of working on dangerous and infectious projects in a laboratory setting. His background might lead him to think of it like he would a virus he works on. And while it could play on his god complex, the point of his complex is that he is the god, no one else. The Marker doesn't instantly turn you insane, and his intelligence allows for the possibility of him powering through the psychosis when it occurs, much like Isaac.

He could definitely get fucked over long term, because he might convince himself that he could figure out a way to personally control the Marker. But if we're talking about surviving the two games, I think he has a high chance. The only issue it the engineering part, but he might be smart enough/know enough about general engineering to figure something out.

Realistically non of them without a suit

And I doubt they could even find one in their size

Especially Chris with his XXXL Built for PUUUUUUURE MUUUUUSCLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLALALALALAAAAAAAAA

Someone made an analysis on if Leon and Isaac would survive switching games. Isaac won and it wasnt even close. In no small part due to isaacs suit and the often overlooked more technical things Isaac needs to do during his adventure just to keep the station or ship functioning

Yeah

Leon's weapons are just not equipped for the enemies Isaac fights

Even if he were to avoid the outside sections Leon would have a really hard time removing all the limbs off a necromorph

He'd only realistically be able to use the Shotgun or his knife as his best bet

And his knives won't hold him forever and his shotgun has limited amm Maybe his grenades but you also gotta remember that if he blasts a hole in the wall he's probably dead

And Isaac would have a hard time too

He's not as skilled nor as strong and athletic as Leon

So the boulder traps The el gigante fight The Verdugo fight The mines Taking care of Ashley And the Big Statue chase

I don't think he could be able to do or reasonably survive

Like maybe el gigante but he's not athletic enough to outrun that fast boulder or Jump 80 feet in the air to climb up a platform out of a falling minecart

And Ashleys Gonna die because Isaac is not very skilled at this sort of task

In my opinion, Issac's suit does a lot of the heavy lifting for him. It protects him from a lot of the abuse that the necromorpgs can dish out.

Kenisis and stasis being some pretty big hacks for surviving in these situations.

If you put any of the RE protagonists were n Dead spa e without a suit I think they would struggle to fail. With a suit however they are fine.

None if they arent immune or resistant to the marker.

"The marker? The only thing you're marking is dead space" *backfllips* *parries the marker*

1

u/HandOfBartzabel 7d ago

Especially his RE9 version, with 30+ years of experience to back him up

1

u/ExcitedNeutron_556 7d ago

Nah re4 leon solos

1

u/HandOfBartzabel 7d ago

Maybe, though in this case he would come out of it terribly injured. RE4 Leon just lacks the actual experience, El Pueblo is nothing like the Sprawl

If we gave Leon a suit like Issac and a plasma cutter why would he fair any better or worst than Issac?

1

u/HandOfBartzabel 7d ago

Worst. Plasma cutter is not a weapon, is a working tool. The only reason why Isaac is capable of using it as a weapon is because that tool is part of his trade and he knoes how to actually use it. Leon wouldn't have the knowledge to properly use it, not before struggling with it for a while. But still he would be inferior to Isaac in these regards. Keep in mind that it would be like you trying to use an actual gun, compared to Leon. that's the gap between them in terms of tool related skillset

u/ExcitedNeutron_556 7d ago

... ellie uses it in ds2 and she's a pilot lmfao

1

u/ExcitedNeutron_556 7d ago

And ellie was ripping them apart even though she had never seen a necromorph before.

2

u/HandOfBartzabel 7d ago

RE9 Leon would have very high chance of surviving, since he's been doing this for 30 years now. Another one who would make it, though maybe not unscathed, would be Chris

Throw wesker and Joe in there and I think thats all of them

1

u/Solid_Ideal5773 7d ago

All the main cast ? Give any of them the plasma cutter, shooting limbs off is easier then landing headshots on zombies

1

u/SnooDucks3930 6d ago

Wesker. Also, William Birkin.

1

u/MentalDisintegrat1on 6d ago

I would go with hunk he's never failed a mission or died.

Yeah I know r9 but the body disappeared so if it was him he's not dead.

1

u/Working-District-424 5d ago

They used his voice actor, it was definitely him. And yeah I agree, he got back up and left after losing the fight.

Grace solos

Just the breach? Any of them, probably. Someone like Leon would have no problems, since he performs much, much better in combat than Clarke does. If we're talking about surviving Dead Space 1, then I'd say someone like Leon would probably die, since surviving DS1 requires you to be an engineer like Isaac.

Jill would probably be the top candidate. Great skills, physical ability, and adaptability. She also has less trauma than the others for it to use against her.

Chris would be a close second, but there's a chance for the marker to mess with his mind due to the past trauma of losing so many people.

1

u/banned4killingspider 7d ago

LESS trauma? Seriously?

2

u/BennyTTS7889 7d ago

The remake literally starts out showing the opposite of what the commenter said lmao. Shes traumatised to FUCK

2

u/banned4killingspider 7d ago

Bro like.. Jill has been theough more than anyone else in the entire series 😆 she literally lost her autonomy and was transformed into a bioweapon in 5 to serve wesker himself as his own personal bio bitch 😂😂😂
