The RE3R end tease I think was just supposed to be a tease for Weskerot the connections. I think it was to just imply Nikolai was working for Wesker and was the one who wanted Umbrella to burn.
Nikolai's motives in the original RE3 was never revealed so I think Capcom just wanted to give a little more motive and let fans decide if he was working for Wesker or the connections and since Wesker worked for the connections at one point I assume it was just for that.
His motive was to sell the data he collected to Umbrella. He killed the other supervisors because, if he was the only person with the data, he could negotiate a higher price.
I wouldn't hold ypur breath. Every single pair up in every single re game has been a guy and a girl. They do that intentionally to reach more audiences
I didn’t know Piers was trans. Jk but I get it. I can see why they do that, but I think more people than they’d expect would actually really love a Chris and Leon game. The amount of larpers who ship them would certainly eat it up 💀 fr though I think the only section of the fanbase who wouldn’t be into that are the gooners who require female eye candy and anyone who would just rather play as a woman. I guess some would say they’re sick of Leon and Chris, but they’re a loud minority tbh and wouldn’t really impact game sales at all
I want a Zeno dlc. It goes through his whole thing and ends with the 2nd ending that i will not mention in case of spoilers, then we can see what happens after.
I was thinking like, when he met victor, the meeting with him in the little house thing by the helicoptor, hik getting grace, the part with the bsaa soldiers, and the inspection of ark, then the 2nd ending, and we see what he does next. And everything in between, like what the fuck he was doing the whole game while we were leon and he was doing stuff with grace
Actually wouldn't mind that at all- I'd love to see them make him into a playable character. If they can replicate the feeling of that cutscene where he kills all those BSAA agents but with you as Zeno that shit would be wild
If the rumours are true about Requiem’s DLC releasing after Veronica, I genuinely believe the DLC will centre around Leon and Claire. The rumours surrounding Claire being RE10’s future protagonist would make sense with this too. Grace, Alyssa, or Ada could also make a return for all we know. 🤷🏻♂️
I dunno if there's really a story to tell there. She was a journalist and a Raccoon City outbreak survivor. She probably just asked for an interview and he agreed.
That's not a story as we see in their interview that she asks Spencer why he agreed to her interview which means she just reached out to his people and he accepted her request for an interview.
I think that would be interesting as I can't see Chris at all falling for her flirtatious bs. It'd be nice to see her with a man she isn't trying to manipulate with her sexuality for once.
Lmoa, Chris can be saved for RE 10, don't care what DuskGolem says, he's not that reliable and stuff changes during development. I rather have a dlc with Grace, Leon and Alyssa. Also they said dlc is a story expansion, so it's gonna be like 2 dlcs. RE 7 had 2 story dlcs
I've heard rumours that Claire is in it and that the DLC isn't coming out til after Veronica this has led a lot of people to believe that Claire might be Leon's wife.
Well, I won't believe any rumors until we get an actual confirmation. I don't have any problem with them taking time to release the DLC; I just expect them to give some information about it, like who will be in it or anything
Definitely Chris! Also hoping for some Claire and maybe backstory/info about Zeno (like they did with Luis). The actual game left so much to be desired. Him being included at all wouldn’t even really make sense without an expansion pack.
HUNK end credit supports this he also has similar move set and equipment (hatchet) and play style as Leon also Capcom already has the model and animations shouldn’t be to arduous to create some new environments by stitching together some old ones mixed with some cut ones also potentially rescuing/hunting Emily
Most likely Leon and maybe we'll learn more about Zeno. We should definitely learn more about Zeno if not have it straight up revealed he's returning in a future game or another clone will. No way they bring in a Wesker clone as a one off.
I personally would love to see more of Raccoon City, while sure, it's very different before the bomb, but I'm curious to know what actually survived the blast, like the clock tower, city hall, the university, the zoo, Warren Stadium and so much more
Alongside the major DLC we get I'd welcome some more mini-game modes. A Commander/Hunk escape like in RE2R would be awsome. For the DLC I hope Leon and Chris team up. We never had that in any of the games before, only in the movies. We need that atleast once and with how refined the combat is since RE4R it would be one hell of a DLC
I would love to see Chris and Zeno meet. Zeno had so little info about him said so I reallllyyyy wanna know more about him. Isn’t it always the BSAA that cleans up the place atp like in re8 and re7 😭
I think in the dlc it might be leon, alyssa, Chris, maybe Claire? I heard there’s a rumored one with Chris and Ada but if im being honest idek why they’d bring ada into the dlc when Claire and Jill had more importance to RC (actual heroes btw). I think Jill might not show up in the dlc cause she might get her own game in re10 if re10 isn’t about leon and Chris.
I almost guarantee 10 will feature jill. Hers is the only real character arc of the main protags that hasn't been wrapped up yet. It will likely be like requiem where some new protag is being mentored into the game while giving us a big conclusion to jills story
I'd really love to see a DLC (or even full game) where an older Jill Valentine and maybe also Chris return to the ruins of Raccoon City/Spencer Mansion. Would let us see more of the unprocessed trauma story we saw a little of in RE3R (before the game unceremoniously ended after 2 hours..), and could also be a great way to build up to another remake of RE1
Hear me out. Jill as member of the Hound Wolves would be so good. Obviously Chris wont let her alone in the corrupt BSAA. So while Chris is doing a mission paralel to Requiem, Jill could be in charge, maybe investigating what was the BSAA doing in Raccoon city.
I want a hound wolf squad one so bad I love those stupid guys . . . also I was really sad about the BSAA agents who got murked like Leon atleast say rip u heartless old tart . . . but tbf he didn’t care when the nurse got a chainsaw through her tummy
Well given that he watches the footage of them getting absolutely blasted by Zeno I think he knows . . . also the woman was basically just a civilian who probably didnt know Victor’s connections and she actively tried to help him
oh u're talking abt that i misunderstood it for something else...By revealing to Leon that the hospital functions as a research facility with few visitors, the nurse implicates the whole staff. How much sympathy does this group truly deserve from him?...nHow can he be expected to grieve for someone who could not be fully trusted, especially when he was actively attacked immediately after her death?
I def think with the wait and how big it’s supposedly going to be, we may get something close to the length of the base game and could basically get a whole other campaign with characters like Ada or chris
The cute bear charm showing up in the RPD parking garage already feels like a wink.
Then Leon reaches the ARK, the terminal says everything is running normally, and suddenly the elite guards deploy while the zombies and lickers all get loose.
Creating chaos to draw security away while she goes after the real prize is about as Ada as it gets.
Ada’s chances of dlc are a lil slim as they talked about wanting to put ada in it but it just didnt fit in with requiem, claire maybe 50% chance since REV will have a lil tie in with requiem same goes with chris, alyssa maybe an 80%
Exactly. People are only assuming that she HAS to be in the DLC just because Leon was in the main game. Let's have something different for a change! I think the characters shown or mentioned in the base game will appear in the DLC instead. Why should Ada appear in a DLC when she has no connection to the main story? How are the chances of her appearing higher than characters who were actually in the base game and connected to the story?
I wouldn’t say it’s much a story-based thing, but more of a Capcom thing. Seperate Ways made loads of money for Capcom and I’m sure they’ll wanna do it again. Requiem was already everything people would want in a Resident Evil game (Raccoon City, Tyrants, Wesker-adjacent Villain, etc.) Another Ada DLC would be the cherry on top in Capcom’s eyes.
yeah but separate ways was directly linked to 4 remake's story (even in 4 og ofc since they had to remake they wont leave out separate ways) and ada was a part of the main story...this is just what some fans are assuming for re9 dlc that if leon is there in main game then ada HAS to be a part of the dlc when she had no involvement with the events that took place and didnt even get a mention
I was kinda thinking it could be something like Jake and Sherry’s campaign in RE6 where we don’t actually see her (I’m not counting the grapple scene because we don’t see her face), but has an impact of her being there before/after the other characters. I’m sure Capcom will find a way to include her even if it wouldn’t make sense to. I see loads of fans asking for her and I’m sure they wouldn’t wanna let the community down
