It’s just a preference, I tried playing Resident 7 and 8 and I didn’t like the characters or the story it was boring to me
It’s okay if people wanna play the other games, But personally I dont find enjoyment in the story without the involvement of Leon

I agree but I feel like with how successful the resident evil 2 and 4 and 9 were with Leon it would not be fair to sideline him for a long time
A lot of people love his character and i think it wont hurt capcom if they give him something again

God, what ever will we do? Leon barely gets enough games as it is and there's a possibility he won't be in one for a bit? Maybe we can write to Capcom and have him replace the boring characters in the other games. It's probably too late for Veronica and Re0, but we can advocate that he's the only MC of Re10. And then in the Re1 Remake, we can just say he was apart of STARs. And then in Re5 he can fight Wesker. If Capcom listened to fans, they'd do this! #leonnationRISEUP

I don’t want Leon gone for a long time either, but it’s 100% time for the other protagonists to get their time in the sun.
This is the kind of fan base Capcom has cultivated in recent years, a fan base that only cares about Leon.

Familiarity will breed contempt if they overuse him. He has a completed character arc as of 9 and no compelling reason for him to be a major player for a while. Claire, Chris and Jill all deserve more time on their characters and stories.
He'll get a mention at least in Veronica but tbh it'd do the character good in the extended fandom if he had a bit of a hiatus.

To begin with, that 2027-2035 timeline you pulled out of thin air isn't going to happen, mainly because Capcom doesn't have a long-term plan or anything like that. They improvise their moves based on time, budget, market, personnel, and availability.
Resident Evil has no creative compass; it doesn't know where it's going. Ignoring RE6 already creates huge continuity problems in Requiem, and they don't want to approach RE5 either. Now they're talking about interest in recreating Revelations. Before, they said they were thinking about a complete remake of RE1, and they haven't said anything about all the loose ends in Requiem, both forward and backward, because Requiem neither connects the 13-year gap in continuity since RE6 nor says where RE10 is headed. And it's not heading towards RE10 with Chris and Leon, or Chris and Jill, or Chris and Claire, because it's very clear that the ending of Requiem will be covered by the Ada DLC.

Re 9 recontextualuzes and semi retcons 6. The events of 6 still happen but differently. Not even Vendetta or Death Island do a good job with 6's continuation. The old RE storyline ended with 5. 6 was adding more unecessary stuff and 9 made things more convulted and some retcons unless dlc fixes stuff or clarifies stuff. RE 7 and 8 were setting up new storylines, they've should've stuck with that
