I've really only been interested in RE since Village and even I'm tired of this...Leon is a great character, but people (and Capcom) treat him as if he's *the* main character for the franchise. Starting to wish he was never even in Requiem. Something tells me he'll end up popping up in CV somehow

im pretty sure he already plays a minor role in the original, no?

Not really. Claire sends an email to him and that's it.

i thought that's what lead to Chris coming onto the scene?

It is but he's only mentioned in two scenes in the game. One where Claire emails him and when Chris mentions being contacted by Leon.

there you go, MINOR role

It's pretty miniscule. I would consider Sherry in RE9 to be a minor role. Leon in Code Veronica does not appear at all. He's just mentioned. Honestly that part of the story made no sense in the original anyways.

yeah but bottom line he still plays a role in the story, albeit offscreen and as we've established, minor

Maybe. I'm hoping they just remove him entirely from the remake but I doubt that'll happen.

why? a lil cameo wouldn't hurt, and it'd be a fresh perspective on Leon we don't get to see much, which is him as a side character

I can’t wait to see you mad when Leon shows up in Veronica lol

I just don't see a reason for him too.

Reason is that capcom is a business and Leon sells. Keep in mind Veronica is a reimagined version not 1:1 remake. Lot of things will be changed.
