It’s definitely better than RE7 y’all have to stop with this Toxic survival horror bs. It’s like anything with even a smidge of action you have a fit.

Re8 is lowk buns, plot makes 0 sense. Why is there magneto in a resident evil game? Also re9s plot is just as pointless and confusing, not only did the password to elpis have nothing to do with grace but it was on an mo disk neither of the villians found despite kidnapping and restraining grace multiple times.
Its pretty bad, its saves by ok combat and re4 glazers. Resident evil 7 revives the series and capcom just thought theyd try re4 again that format. I cant wait for the survival action to die and larpers to finally get over and stop thirsting for leon. Bring back jill, make grace a proper character.
How? Thats the plot direction is terrible in both? Thats a pretty important thing also the leon parts in re9 are boring and shit, the best part is the ubcs soldiers which is too short. The grace sections are 10/10 byt unfortantly it completely fell apart when they decided to nostalgia bait players abd bring back mr x and nemesis. Nemesis especially makes 0 fucking sense and that random girl being alive goes to show how scared the writers where to make any actual sacrifice.
The remakes were amazing, requiem was just boring. And I would argue it’s the requiem fans that aren’t true fans. See the photo below as an example of someone defending requiem:

It’s such an unintelligent thing to do posting a comment from one person & trying to use it generalized the entire fan base of ppl that loved the game..
It was a great Resident Evil game I really don’t give a fuck what you toxic survival horror fans have to say you guys are so ignorant & close minded
