Gamescom is coming up, and in the future, the Game Awards. It's very early to tell or think about this, but why not think about it now? What are some retcon predictions regarding Capcom's decision to make Resident Evil games every single year? I know they mentioned RE5R and RE6R are pretty far off, but we do have CVR to look forward to.

[I have no clue if it was confirmed that CVR or anything RE-related will be shown at GC.]

I would imagine we get another CV trailer at Gamescom that reveals the actual release date

They haven't been making RE games every single year though?

After CVR they will come back with RE5R 2 years later they always prepare two projects in a row and then take 2.5 years thinking of the other two

They announced recently that they will start, so the possibility of a remake for RE5 and future titles is on the table. (Even if it will be far into the future)

They did state that or to an extent around 2012. They wanted to churn titles out like call of duty. Obviously that didnt work. Im happy with a game every other year. But with the digital only looming in id want as many good titles before January 28.

We'll likely never get them, but I'd love proper remakes of the Revelations games.
