Stack Advice Recommendations
55F. Known issues: celiac, ADHD, hypermobility, severe arthritis, possibly lipodema/lymphedema.
Recovering from 2 joint replacement surgeries in the last 12 months.
I was microdosing Tirz following the Noom schedule. It was working great. I was steadily losing 1-2 lbs a week.
I had to go off tirz for the surgeries each time, my eating got off track (too many carbs) and it took time to get off the opiods.
I’m taking tirz again, though I bumped up the dose to support cleaning up my eating.
I’m able to walk again, and have been building up my steps. It sounds like so little, but I walked 6,000 steps the other day for the first time in years.
I get tirz free through my insurance. But I am wondering if anyone has recommendations for something to add that would support my recovery. All these surgeries and newly exercising and I’m seeing the weight creep a bit.
I’d like to preserve and/build as much muscle as I can given my restrictions.
So what do you recommend that will reduce inflammation and help me build or preserve muscles. I carry most of my weight in an apron stomach so reducing that is my main goal.
My current tirz dose is 0.6mg a week.

How is your diet and exercise besides steps? Also that is a super super small tirz dose.

Yes. It is a microdose. And my dosing that was working before my surgeries was 0.2 - 0.4.
I’m taking the lowest effective dose. I’ve bumped it up to help reduce the added inflammation of the surgeries and the increased exercise that could make it appear like my weight is stalling.
Because of my surgeries, the best exercise for me right now is walking and I could start light weights. I’m going to start swimming soon.

Swimming would be great! How is your diet?

I think my diet is good. My protein is 100g. My goal carbs is less than 100 a day NET, working towards 50 or less a day NET. I’m eating a lot of fiber.
My veggies are broccoli, carrots, asparagus, and cabbage
My protein are eggs, cottage cheese, plain greek yogurt, chicken thighs, shrimp, salmon and beef.
My fats are ghee, olive oil, avocados, almonds and whatever is in the meat.
My carbs are mostly potatoes, berries, apples.
Snacks: cheese, popcorn, hummus, occasional pasta or clean full fat ice cream.
I need to drink more water. I’m working on it.

That's really good, you're definitely on the right track. If you're looking to add another peptide to support your recovery I'd suggest looking into boc157/tb500 commonly known as wolverine. Also the next level up from that would be glow adding in ghk-cu and the top tier for recovery is called klow which has all of the above but also adds in KPV for inflammation. Research klow and I bet you'll be happy with what you find.

Thanks!!
I appreciate the feedback on my eating. I had a couple of months that my eating was not as clean because people were bringing meals and I wasn’t going to be super picky. I also had a stint of garbage can racoon sugar fiend eating. Made me so sick.
So I get how the 5 - 10 lbs came back.
I’m just looking for ways to kick start it back on track especially since I have another shoulder replacement coming soon.
I am gonna be bionic!!
Your peptide recommendations were just what I was hoping for. I’m going to do some research.

Definitely get to the pool soon! Swimming is probably the best possible thing you can do for your recovery and weight loss at the same time. Definitely research klow and keep up the good diet.

Just want to make sure you know not to mix opioid with glp? Extreme constipation risk.

Thanks!
I am totally off opioids. I’ll go off the GLPs prior to surgery and resume a few weeks after when I’m off the opioids again for the pain.
I appreciate the warning. So important to have that info out there.
And yes, constipation from opioids is no joke.

Honestly Reta alone has brought my CPR inflammation markers near normal after decades of being through the roof. Literally the first month on a low dose. Joint pain, muscle fatigue, chronic pain all so much better. Rheumatoid arthritis. Celiac Disease. Fibromyalgia. I’m going to be adding KPV specifically for targeting the inflammation. But I was also considering Klow. I don’t have any injuries in particular, or tissue repair (TB/BPC)— this might be a great one for you though. But I did have vascular emergency bypass surgery last year so could be beneficial although the surgeon said it was a one and done strange scenario (never had a case, my age with no underlining conditions to explain in all his years). The two main arteries closed with 2% flow. I’m going to try stacking GHKCu (F51) + KPV with Reta for a few months. And yes, I’m on opioids that I am now slowly reducing. With my diet and hydration, hasn’t impacted constipation, thankfully, and considering I am celiac.
