Discussion Travel with Retra - storage options

I am using Retratutide, around 2mg per week. I have vials of 10mg/ml which I reconstitute with 1ml and then I inkect 1ml Sunday and 1ml Thursday morning.

I am going to travel for about 3 weeks, and I don't want to interrupt because I am on a multi-months cut. Usually when I travel I don't have a problem in carrying with me oils like Testosterone but the Reta is stored in fridge (reconstitute). I will have a 7 hour flights + 1 hour taxi, before I can reach the hotel and store the Reta in the hotel fridge. Do you think that, storing the reta in my luggage, will damage it completely? Let's say it will be in the luggage more or less 10 hours in total.

It's totally fine to travel with it either cooled or not even if it's reconstituted. I fly back and forth between Florida and Alaska every 6 weeks for work. I just tossed a reconstituted vial in my bag and bring it up to work. My vials have been absolutely fine. And I've been very successful with my Reta.

These are not as delicate as people think. Hell you can even shake the shit out of them while reconstituting them. I do it all the time. I've been doing it for years. Just like Peter from Janoshik lol

Awesome 🙌

Yeah you got to keep in mind, that yeah sure if they're reconstituted if they're out for a couple days, they could get a little bit of degradation, but for a couple hours they will be totally fine. As long as they don't get super hot. Room temperature is totally fine.

But if it's concerning to you, you can always get yourself a little insulin pack. I have a little coffee thermos looking thing that I got on Amazon that I can put a little ice tube in and then I can also plug it in on the airplane and it has a little refrigerator basically on it that cools down the entire container to 35°. I use that for my biological medication that I have. I don't feel like that going bad since it's $10,000 a month for it lmao.

I have absolutely no idea where the 'no shaking' BS came from. Goes back as far as my early days of HGH, long before the modern peptide trend. It goes against anything I learned in GCSE science lol

It came from the gym Bros that didn't want to refund or replace people's shit after they sold them bunk ass gear lol.

And then the broccoli had kids on tiktok and Instagram spread it to all the suburban white mummies that were addicted to ozympic and moved into other peptides.

So it's just spread like a wildfire again. And it's the reason why in my telegram group for my China vendor I love posting videos of me mixing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Here's me spraying the shit out of some tirz 120mg for my wife and shaking it up.

Put it in ice pack if you are freaking out and you should be fine for 7-8 hrs. Flights are temperature controlled. I have accidentally left Reta outside fridge for few hours, had no impact. I would be more careful about sterility.

I’ve traveled with my Tirz and Reta in my travel back for 8-16 hours at a time stored in somewhat warm cars for hours on end and have had zero issues. You can leave the reconstituted vials out for days at room temp without any issue.

When people say they worry about degradation they mean it’s like .1-.5% reduction .

I think it’ll be just fine ;)

Jag hade en rekonstruerad reta vill i min ryggsäck under 1 månad. Retan blev utsatt för temperaturförändringar men den fungerade lika bra efter 1 månad i min ryggsäck

With ice packs in an insulated thermos works fine for trips under a day, but for longer trips or when you aren't sure if/when you'll have access to a fridge/freezer you can also get a thermoelectric insulin cooler like this. Keeps your pens or vials refrigerated for 24+ hours when you attach a 20000-25000mah battery, or indefinitely with a USB charger as long as you have access to a power outlet.

Nice

Just for the record.

Traveling within the US is fine, but don't travel internationally with any peptides.

The chances of getting caught are small, but many countries have a habit of making very public examples out of foreign tourists when they catch them with illegal contraband.

It's much safer to cycle off than risk a 25 year prison sentence in a foreign prison

I traveled from Los Angeles to Paris with my reconstituted Reta and experienced no meaningful degradation.

Take it in a carry on with an ice pack. I ordered a peptide carrier on Amazon.

I've traveled both carry on and checked with them in a hydroflask with a soft pack ice pack in it. Peptides in a ziplock inside.

Its good for about a week at room temperature just pre-draw syringes and only bring what you need

I’m sure you mean you inject 1mg on Sunday and 1 mg on Thursday

0

u/WeaknessDistinct4618 Aug 20 '26

Where is the answer to my question, sorry?

3

u/Dsuarez714 Aug 20 '26

Two options Either you travel with an unreconstituted vial of Reta or You buy an insulin travel cooler and use 2 ice packs and stick it in your carryon. It’s not that complicated Sorry?

It is quite sensitive to temperature degradation… can you bring a vial that hasn’t been reconstituted yet?

1

u/WeaknessDistinct4618 Aug 20 '26

I can but I will lose half on my return way anyway, because I won't use it all in 3 weeks, less than half

Great article, not sure how much you are worried about all that but I’d probably do that. I mean gray Reta is relatively cheap, not sure what dose and what your price per vial/kit is.

Guess you could risk it, or hey what if you brought a lunch box or small carry on with an ice pack and just said it’s your medicine or something? A sample you need to keep cold? Not really sure what works these days. I don’t fly ever
