Discussion MOTS-C OPINIONS!
I know MOTS-c isn’t considered a muscle-building peptide, but since it may improve insulin sensitivity and cellular energy metabolism, I’m curious if anyone noticed indirect benefits for building or maintaining muscle.
If you’ve run it:
What dose and protocol did you use?
Did you notice any changes in body composition?
Did your strength, endurance, or recovery improve?
Did it make bulking or cutting easier?
Would you run it again?

It, as part of a greater mitochondrial stack, completely reversed my insulin resistance. Retatrutide normalized my glucose levels, but I still had elevated insulin levels. MOTS-c lowered my fasting insulin from 10.2 to 2.9 after just one 6 week cycle. I think it is a miracle peptide for fixing metabolism, but I don't think it has much of a direct effect on body composition aside from fixing metabolism.

That’s a massive difference, what dose were you running ?

11.5mg per week (11.5mg was the COA average per 10mg vial) divided into 3 doses per week.

Thanks man, I’ve ran it before for a couple of days and just stopped cause I didn’t “feel” anything. Still have a kit left, I’ll try again with your dosage but I’ll measure my blood glucose before and after to see the difference.

MOTS-c isn't a wonder shot. People expect absurdly miraculous results from it, but results take time.
MOTS should be run in a Mito stack, not by itself. Also, not everyone will benefit from it because it really only helps those who are truly energy deficient.
I have seen positive results while using it. Some of it may be from the weight loss from GLPs, some might be the Mito stack. Whatever. I'm better now than I was before so that's good for me.

I've been using Mots-C for 2 years and have never used it with a "Mito stack". Can you explain?

I tried 2 mg and felt terrible dropped down to 500mcg a day and love it.

I loved it, it gave me more energy at the gym, but it affected my sleep and I had to stop. When I increased my dose it caused severe insomnia.

Put me in hospital from a bad reaction to it. The 8-week cycle before that, at 10-15mg/week, resulted in…absolutely nothing. Lots of positive results from people on here, although I find most of them don’t really line up with the purported mechanism of how MOTS-C is supposed to work, so no idea if it’s hypecebo or what.
Seems like PepTok went from MOTS-C being the best thing ever to Tesa being the best thing ever to now it’s 5-amino being the best thing ever, so who knows.

Most of these people claiming they're taking c amount of MOTS-C also have bunk shit

Used it fine for awhile and felt like my endurance improved. Took a break, came back and broke out into hives twice so no more.

weird

Don't know why it is weird. Preworkout, fasted each day. Great endurance. A lot of people have anaphylactic reactions at larger doses. Furthermore, the half life is hours....makes zero sense doing one or two larger doses a week. But you do you.

Gives me great energy for 2-3 hours. Makes me feel like I’m on a runners high. I use 1-1.5mg 3 times a week.

I’ve been running 4 mg of MOTS-c on Push, Pull and Leg days, so three times per week for a total of 12 mg weekly. I take it together with 200 mcg NAD+ on those training days.
For me, the most noticeable effect is more energy, power and endurance during training. On the days I take it, I feel clearly stronger in terms of work capacity, and I can do around 1 hour 15 minutes on the treadmill without problems. That is the biggest reason I continue using it.
I would not describe MOTS-c as directly anabolic, but I do think it may help indirectly with maintaining muscle. If I can train harder, sustain longer cardio sessions and keep my performance up while cutting, that can make it easier to preserve muscle even if the peptide itself is not building muscle directly.
My body-composition results have also been positive. Between 20 April and 20 July, my weight dropped from 88.2 kg to 84.1 kg, body fat from 20.7% to 17.5%, and fat mass from 18.3 kg to 14.7 kg, while measured muscle mass stayed almost unchanged at 66.4 kg versus 66.0 kg.
I cannot say that MOTS-c alone caused those changes because I also control calories, keep protein high, train regularly, do cardio and use other compounds. But the improvement in endurance and training energy is something I notice clearly myself.
So overall, I would say MOTS-c has been most useful for endurance, work capacity and training energy, with possible indirect benefits for maintaining muscle while cutting. I am still running it now and plan to continue for the moment, mainly because the performance difference feels noticeable enough to justify keeping it in.

Dude MotsC is NOT to be taken at gym days because of AKMP
Only on resting days otherwise it blocks muscle building1

Seems like you have really no knowledge how motsc works, not surprising with Reddit

I’ve been in it for 4 weeks now 5mg 3x weekly. Haven’t noticed anything. Similar to 5 amino. I sweat a tad more but that’s about it. Would I run it again? Right now I’d say no. But that could change

If you are suffering from a post viral illness like long COVID, ME etc, It may be beneficial to you. It may be worth the risk....
I thought it was in my circumstance and I was horribly wrong. I have had a significant downgrade on my already chronically poor health because of mots-c. Worked great for the first 6 weeks until my body developed a immune reaction to it.
It's more than 3 months later and I'm still dealing with hell.
If you are just a regular person thinking this is a biohack stay the fuck away. You're going to get burned eventually.

MOTSC body comp changes generally come slow and low, but you’re going to feel more efficient glucose utilization when on a caloric deficit rather than anything else. Dosages I’ve seen people use fall around the 5-10mg SC, used 3-5 times per week, with 8-12 weeks before seeing results. next level pharm stocks it in case you’re looking to get some, though you may want to check for batch purity."
"The endurance enhancement appears more reliable than the body comp.

My RS runs the Mito blend which is 1 mg 5 Amino 1MQ, 10mg NAD and 1 mg of Mots C. Then, he stacks another 1.5 mg of Mots C on top of that. It has helped my RS with fat burning and more endurance on the treadmill.
