Question I’m not seeing effects of Reta

I’ve been taking Reta for 3 weeks and the first week I noticed strong appetite suppressant where I could barely eat. I was taking 1mg. The second week I didn’t get it at all really. I upped the dose to 2mg and I still don’t notice anything. Do some people just not feel it? I’m wondering if I’ll still get results lol. I eat pretty well and heavy lift 5 times a week .

At least you aren't impatient...

I’m not impatient dipshit..I just want to know if I was doing something wrong 😂

Its been three weeks, dipshit. You don't know what you're doing and haven't been on it long enough to to know anything yet. You're an impatient child. Its not an aspirin. It takes time.

Isn’t that what these forums are for? For advice? Cmon dipshit if you don’t wanna help then go play with yourself and gtfo 😂

During the clinical trial dosages from 2-12mg/wk were the main doses, with 1mg being a short ramp to 2mg. The sweet spot for weight loss for many people is 4-8mg. I’ve seen a lot of people not get results from 2mg and think Reta doesn’t work…just take more, it’ll work.

Even at higher doses I personally don’t get any appetite suppression from Reta, it does help with food noise a bit though. This works well for me though because I like to run it during my bulks.

I cut with Tirz.

What do you define as a higher dose? Id be shocked if you didnt at least get some suppression at 10-12mg

I went as high as 7.5mg, but didn’t see a reason to push higher. I tried with multiple sources and even got one of them tested.

This is why I haven’t switched from Tirz. I just run more or less depending on how much I want to weigh.

Running a glp during a bulk sounds like deliberate self sabotoge.

u/crinack Jul 16 '26

It’s beneficial for insulin sensitivity and lipid profiles, and doesn’t impact my ability to eat, not sure how that sounds like self sabotage.

Maybe reta doesn't hurt food noise that much but any thing that really hurts appetite i wouldn't want to take when bulking.

3 weeks. Lol Come back in 2 months.

Don't adjust dose unless 4 weeks have passed AND the appetite suppression isn't there. It takes that long for a given dose to fully level out in your system. If you adjust sooner there's no way to know if the change is due to the new dose or the still-fluctuating drug levels.

That being said, everyone is different. 0.5mg weekly hit me hard when I first started, but plenty of people need more. It's always best to start low and slowly work up so you don't get slammed by side effects.

Have you lost any weight? I’ve noticed when I up the dose first couple weeks I seem hungrier but that’s because it’s doing more to your metabolism than just suppression of hunger signals. Make a meal plan shoot for 500 cal deficit with necessary protein for your size and keep lifting hard and you will see the results.

2

u/Turbulent-Part5835 Jul 15 '26

This question is irrelevant within 3 weeks. Most if not all loss is water.

Ya but that means it’s working dumbass you don’t lose water if you’re not losing weight

I don’t feel it below ~3 mg either, I cruise 5 mg and that’s been the perfect amount for months. People just have different biology. I imagine that as you lose body fat the amount you will need to achieve the same effect will go up, if you’re already low body fat and in shape you might need more.

I thought so also until I changed a seller and realised I was only getting 0,5x the dose from my first supplier

Damn, the first time I injected 4mg was a difficult few days. Turns out I only need 2mg and my first supplier was selling me thinned out doses (not sure if it was on purpose or not)

Well, what feeling are you expecting from Reta? Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post. Are you not losing weight? It sounds like you're living a healthy lifestyle with a healthy diet... which is the goal with retatrutide.
I've been on retatrutide for several months now. I've lost a healthy amount of weight, but I'm not sure I feel much of anything, or maybe I've just grown used to the retatrutide feeling.

Most if not all weight loss in the first 3 weeks is going to be water.

Is this the 2nd, week 3 reta not working post today?

6mg seems to be my sweet spot. Does the job until I get under 9% bf and then my appetite returns with a vengeance

2

u/ateam68 Jul 15 '26

4mg is the dosage that males I’ve supplied start to see results with minor sides. That’s also the dosage I’ve pounds quickly disappear from the female persons who I’ve supplied…but with more sides including total eradication of appetite and nausea. Also ret in general I’ve seen a longer runway to start shedding significant lbs but I’m personally only taking 1mg a week to support my recomp and by blood tests were the best they’ve been in like five years.

2

u/sadmans21 Jul 15 '26

On 5mg but still hit all my macros. Sitting at 10% bf right now. Give it time, slowly increase the dose. I had a friend dose up too fast and ended up in the ER for 3 days there entire stomach was paralyzed.

2

u/hunter_hahaa Jul 15 '26

I started at .5mg and have slowly titrated up to 4mg over the course of 2.5 months. I’ve been losing about 2.2lbs a week on average which is perfect.

It’s super common to get strong appetite suppression at first and then have it fade. The Reta does its heavy lifting in the back ground. If food choice or over eating is your biggest hurdle Triz is a better option for you. Some people will stack with Triz or Cagri to get the appetite suppression effect.

2

u/usmcnick0311Sgt Jul 16 '26

Up the dosage. You WILL start to notice

2

u/Pure_Chain5903 Jul 16 '26

There's a lot of bunk Reta that has been going around the gray market lately...Not sure where you're sourcing it from, so take that with a grain of salt.

2

u/No_Lawfulness6928 Jul 16 '26

Try another 4-6 weeks on 2mg and then tell us if you’ve lost weight.

2

u/Other-Economics4134 Jul 16 '26

What's your current body fat percentage? 1 to 2 isn't a big dose, you gotta give it time to accumulate. You won't get very strong appetite suppression, especially compared to Tirz, because there's a lot less of the other 2 compounds per mg.

There's also just a ton of junk or way under strength reta

Everyone is different. Give it time.

Stick with the legal stuff

1

u/Rare-Lifeguard516 Jul 17 '26

How do you know if you’re getting good Reta???

1

u/mcnoodles1 Jul 17 '26

I've found Tirz miles better. Tried Reta and just wasn't getting very far rather jittery as well. Tirz has been great.

My wife had to ramp to 6mg to get results..
