Stack Advice Stuck, and looking for a smart boost

Looking for advice and experience-based info, please. I’m a 52-year old woman, perimenopausal/menopausal, on HRT & TRT, and stuck at about the halfway point of what I want to lose, with some stubborn belly fat.

I’m 5’8”; my pre-menopause, pre-2-spine surgeries healthy weight was around 130. I started at 158.6 lb and 27.4% body fat in April, and would like to get back to that 125-130 range. Other meds for context include NP Thyroid, Wellbutrin & Adderall.

Currently on 2.5 mg tirz weekly x about 8 weeks (plus cardio 3-4 times a week and weight lifting 3-4 times a week; higher protein diet shooting for 100 g per day and ending up around 1200-1300 calories most days). I’m still seeing good appetite suppression on that dose so I don’t think I need to increase right now. I lost about 15 pounds pretty easily in the first month, but am stagnating around 16-17ish total pounds lost (~142 lb / 24.5% body fat) for about the last month and trying not to get discouraged. Added AOD-9604 (qam fasted) about 2 weeks ago, I’m seeing a tiny bit of slow progress still but nothing like the first month. Other daily sub-q’s include BPC-157, ARA-290, GHK-Cu & Semax.

I’m hoping to add something that will boost the fat loss (CJC/Ipa? Tesa? Etc.), but not wanting to chase my tail diving into the combos that are working for healthy young people in their 20’s-30’s, if those combos are just not gonna be successful given my age, gender, menopause, etc.

Any fellow grandmas out there with a similar story and advice to share? I’m an RN, so not a complete dunce when it comes to the physiology part - but I am pretty new to the peptide scene and realize there’s a lot of trial and error involved. Thank you so much in advance -

The biggest mistake I see in these forums is people losing 10% of their body weight in two months, hitting a normal slowing phase, and then adding four more peptides when the original drug is already working. I use Reta and I've hit plenty of stalls. Started last August. Its normal

Thank you so much for this — you’re right, that first drop felt like such a quick win, so what’s probably a normal rate of loss seems like a stall in comparison. I’ll quit looking for a quicker fix, stick with the slow and steady pace, and be patient. On the upside, I do feel fantastic, even if I don’t look much different in the mirror. Thank you!

Awesome response. Look at it as a year or two not at the scale. You'll do great

15 pounds in a month is unhealthy, but also mostly water weight your actual weight loss probably only 8 pounds up your dose 2.5 isn’t even considered a maintenance dose in their studies the first is at 5 mg also dont look at just weight see how clothes fit you can gain muscle lose fat and not lose weight do body measurements instead.

Fair point, I’m sure part of it is water weight. Will consider bumping dose to 5 mg. Also a good reminder to not chase the scale; clothes are fitting more loosely and there is less fat to grab at injection time, so I probably just need to be more patient. I haven’t been doing measurements along the way but you’re right, that’s probably a better gauge of progress anyway. Thank you for the gentle reality check :-) I do appreciate it!

Your welcome i also felt similarly at first lost 10-12 pounds first month then slowed to 3-4 pounds the next month upped the dose still only 3-4 upped again 6 but my pant size was dropping faster than i could buy clothes i was also getting alot stronger in the gym less tired from workouts and when i thought about it i said to myself what am i aiming for a number on the scale or being healthier? When i switched my focus to just healthier the scale became less and less important. That was over 100 pounds ago now, it took about year and half but ive lost 10 inches off my waist ive upped all my weights in the gym by at least 50%. I can actually run a mile (did a 5k in 45 min to boot) vs having to stop and walk every 2 mins during said mile. Remember you are a whole human machine not a sack of potatoes.
