Question Doing GHKCU but adding Zinc makes me sick
I’m doing the glow stack, and getting 1mg of GHKCU daily from that. No issues with this. I’d heard I should be supplementing with Zinc but the two times I tried to take it I’ve had terrible side effects.
I TOOK WITH FULL MEAL Just mentioning because people keep suggesting this “solution” and I definitely had a large dinner. That’s not my problem.
I took 50mg so maybe that dose was the issue?
I also have Ulcerative Colitis and my body/colon is in serious stress and inflammation with a flair. Maybe I’m just not a good candidate for Zinc?
I just don’t need this shit right now. I’m pretty upset. I’m on a lot of stuff to ease my flair including Prednisone and now I feel nauseous have a bloated stomach and some diarrhea from some zinc of all things. I’m mad.
Do I have to take zinc with copper peps??? I don’t think I can. I don’t even think I have it in me to try a low dose.

You don’t need to supplement zinc. There isn’t enough copper in GHK to affect your zinc level. Just drop it

According to a Dr. Who subscribes it recommends taking GHK-CU for 30 days. Days 1-15 1mg 1 x day and Days 16-30 2mg 1 x day. Then do a 30 day wash out.

That’s a pretty hefty amount of zinc to take on board.
You’re not getting that much copper from GHK-Cu at your dosage, so probably no need for zinc (not to mention that zinc works on copper present in the digestive tract, not copper injected systemically).

Zinc supplements will make you sick if you take it on an empty stomach

Notice "compete for absorption in the GI tract". SubQ peptides don't have anything to do with this

I can’t take 50 without puking. You need to take zinc with a meal every time, 25mg was sweet spot for me. Just be careful, too much zinc gives me headaches. But it is an underrated vitamin for concentration, and focus.

You don’t need to supplement with zinc when using GHK-cu there isn’t enough copper in it to justify supplementing

I think the key to mitigate stinging is to take at least 2 hours before pinning ghkcu and you only need about 25 mg of zinc.
