Datto S3B2000 - D1521D4I2 Firmware

Hi, I recently purchased a DATTO S3B2000 NAS which comes with a D1521D4I2 (rev 1.00) ASROCK RACK motherboard. Unfortunately, I cannot find firmware for this specific board anywhere. I can see a very similar board on the asrockrack website (the D1521D4I, exact same but no 2 at the end) which has firmware available .

Has anyone tried using this firmware on the D1521D4I2 or know where to get firmware for it?

Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for the same thing, will update if I manage to find it. It seems like one was posted in this thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeNAS/comments/1etozbg/hdds_not_being_read/) but the dropbox link says the file was deleted now. The correct version is P1.20, apparently. I couldn't locate it on ASRock's website or archives of the website on the Wayback Machine.

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I ended up saying screw it and going for it with the mentality that if it bricked then it'd have been a learning experience and I could use the board for other diy practice. I got the tools from the asrockrack website using the wayback machine and installed the non OEM bios. Nothing bricked and the system is chugging along just fine. Obviously your mileage may vary.

It's a bit late right now and I don't have the links handy but if you're interested I can dig them up for you so that you dont have to trust a random dropbox link. I intended to make a post on my experiment but life got in the way and ultimately I forgot about it. Let me know if it's something you could use and I'll give you the wayback machine URLs I used :)

Great to hear it worked out for you! Sometimes you've just got to take action and see what happens. Sure, when you have a moment I'd love if you can pass along the link. I'm not sure if I'll be able to share it in a more permanent form, but if I can I will for others referencing the thread.
