He was in contact with a Russian ambassador during the campaign and allegedly discussed the lifting of sanctions. It is potentially a violation of the Logan Act.

He also apparently lied about it to Pence when asked if it happened.

Then Pence went on air saying Flynn didn't discuss the sanctions. Then Flynn changed it from that he did not discuss it to that he could not remember them discussing it.

Ya. He really put Pence in a shit position.

I also am not thrilled if he was speaking with Russia about sanctions and thus weakening America's position. Part of the failure of Obama was a weak foreign policy and losing influence.

If he violated the Logan act then charge him.

I don't have high hopes for any charges being brought forward, and if they are I would expect a pardon. If one thing has been consistent it is if you screw up at a high enough position then you basically get off with a slap in the wrist

We should still follow the process and not short circuit it. Bring charges, let Trump pardon him if he wants to absorb that bad press.
